What’s the role?

• Salary: Starting at $4,000 for apprentices and $5,000 for experienced candidates

Job description

Overview:

The Marketing and Admissions Manager is responsible for recruitment and analyzing the applications of prospective students based on the school’s admission standards. He/she is also expected to answer enquires parents have regarding admissions and thus must have excelling communication skills and professionalism. He/she leads the marketing for the school collaborating with partners to promote the school through digital marketing, promotional materials and events, social media and the school website.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Organise and conduct school tours for prospective parents, ensuring the maintenance of high quality customer experience at all times;
• Effectively participate in initiatives to drive student recruitment and enrolment opportunities (including after-hours on evenings and weekends);
• Recruitment and analysing of prospective student applications;
• Filtering and categorisation of applications;
• Able to have a clear understanding of the school’s policies and standards in regards to admission, and follow accordingly;
• Point of contact for prospective families from enquiry to enrolment of new students;
• Record and report accurate information on the entry process of students
• Liaise and build positive relationships with various stakeholders and prospective parents of the school
• Initiative to regularly follow-up on prospective parents via email, telephone, social media and in person;
• Cascade relevant information in a timely manner to colleagues;
• Support key school orientation and recruitment events;
• Ad-hoc responsibilities as prescribed by Management
• Produce an annual marketing plan
• Collaborate with marketing partners to promote the school and coordinate the preparation of related articles and materials.
• Collaborate with digital marketing partners.
• Coordinate social media presence for the school.
• Collaborate with the Principal and Deputy Principal to produce marketing materials and collaterals.
• Ensure the school website is up to date and provides a dynamic experience for visitors.

Requirements:

• Degree with at least 8-10 years of relevant working experiences
• Experience within a customer-centric, transaction-based administration process an advantage.
• Familiar with private education and have some understanding of the local community in Singapore.
• Strong initiative to follow-up on prospective parents.
• Affinity with and interest in Education.
• Warm and friendly nature, unflappable under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Good team player.
• Computer literacy and Social Media Savvy.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Ability to understand and converse in other languages will be advantageous.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Be a brand guardian for The Garcha Group, setting the tone as well as the look & feel ofall communication.

- Create and execute social media calendar for daily content on social channels such as

Facebook and Instagram.

- Create and execute EDM schedule.

- Review and respond to all reviews on social media, Marriott and OTA channels within 24

hours.

- Initiate and maintain a yearly schedule of events for marketing campaigns.

- Plan, coordinate and execute marketing campaigns both room-side as well as F&B at

property level, enabling more customized and need based marketing.

- Create and organise photography, videography and associated editing for all marketing

needs.

- Maintain and update Marriott and "vanity" hotel and F&B websites' content to ensure all

communication is up-to-date and on brand

- Create and ensure version control of all graphic collateral assets in all departments of all

hotels and F&B.

- Coordinate PR events with and independently from PR company, and continue

relationships/partnerships.

- Assess, recommend, and develop and maintain relationships with influencers, through a

planned schedule of invitations to hotel inspections and hosted events.

- Respond to all emails within 24 hours regarding any marketing and influencer

opportunities.

- Be up to date with online, above the line, below the line market trends and new

developments.

- Actively monitor competitors' online, above the line, below the line marketing programs

- Identify other online marketing opportunities to increase brand and hotel awareness from

time to time.

- Any other duties/tasks as requested by management.

Position Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the digital marketing field, of which, minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel

- Education in digital and social marketing strategies, marketing communications, advertising, and selling with a combination of proven activities.

- Recognizing current trends, marketplace attitudes and company intelligence.

- Photography, graphic design, videography and editing skills.

- Basicdesktop publishing skills including in Design, photoshop or equivalent.

- Excellent command over written and spoken English.

- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional

- Degree in Marketing, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
