Primary Purpose:

A Senior Performance Analysis Engineer will serve as a technical domain owner while delivering capabilities in support of maintaining a high level of system quality and vehicle behavior for our autonomous driving technology. Ideal candidates for this position must have experience with system and sub-system level analysis, verification and validation methodologies, and cross team collaboration across software, testing and project management groups. Different from a traditional Software Quality Assurance (SQA) role, this position uniquely cross-cuts across “testing and operations” functions on the right half of the systems V-model and “software development and systems / safety requirements” functions on the left half of the V-model.

Essential Duties:

• Take technical ownership of an entire domain/sub-domain/system/sub-system (e.g., localization, motion planning, perception, prediction etc.), and maintain deep technical understanding across the AV stack
• Serve as the primary point of contact for performance analysis within said domain.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems to ensure reliable operation and optimal efficiency.
• Deliver professional customer support by responding promptly to client queries and issues related to chiller operations and maintenance.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and control system faults with effective corrective actions.
• Advise and educate clients on proper operating and maintenance practices to extend equipment lifespan.
• Prepare clear and detailed service reports, including work performed, findings, and improvement recommendations.
• Perform commissioning for new chiller installations, ensuring systems are correctly installed and operate according to specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, agents, and contractors to verify system performance and compliance with technical requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with contractors to promote teamwork and effective problem-solving.
• Share technical knowledge with contractors to enhance processes and overall service quality.
• Comply strictly with workplace safety regulations and procedures during all service activities.
• Conduct safety briefings to ensure all parties are aware of and adhere to safety responsibilities.
• Operate in various site environments, including outdoor and plant room settings.
• Perform field-based duties with regular travel to customer locations.
• Provide standby support and respond to chiller breakdowns when assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in chiller maintenance, commissioning, or related HVAC roles.
• Certified in Building Construction Supervisors Safety Courses or equivalent safety training.
• Strong technical expertise in chiller systems, HVAC fundamentals, and electrical control systems.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well with clients and internal teams.
• Capable of working independently while managing time and priorities efficiently.
• Consistently meet maintenance schedules and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
• Proven ability to accurately diagnose and repair chiller system faults through systematic assessments.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and technical competence in all customer engagements.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with customers on service progress, timelines, and updates.
• Provide clear explanations of work performed and practical recommendations for future maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Support existing IMI/ARO projects and lead the development of electrification products, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Electric Cranes, for the marine and offshore market.
• Lead the design and development of electrification systems for marine offshore vessels, with a strong focus on battery management systems (BMS), fuel cell systems, and emerging future‑energy technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, develop detailed technical specifications, and establish robust system architectures.
• Plan and execute system integration, testing, and validation activities to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety.
• Provide technical expertise and engineering support for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrification systems on marine offshore vessels.
• Monitor and assess industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to marine electrification and energy systems.
• Support research and development (R&D) initiatives aimed at advancing electrification technologies and achieving zero‑emission operations for offshore vessels.
• Participate actively in technical discussions, design reviews, and project planning meetings to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Work closely with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power, Control, Automation) or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering, with a strong track record in electrification or power systems projects.
• Strong technical foundation in power distribution management, battery management systems, load sharing, blackout recovery, and variable frequency drive (VFD) systems.
• Proven capability in system configuration design and optimization.
• Extensive hands‑on experience in electrification projects, preferably within the marine or offshore industry.
• Strong understanding of hybrid micro‑grid power systems, including batteries, fuel cells, and diesel generator sets.
• Research exposure in renewable energy systems and power system management will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and cultural gaps between local and global teams.

Design & Coordination
Lead the design and integration of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, risers, gas suppression, and smoke controlPerform hydraulic calculations, develop schematics, and produce technical drawings in compliance with local and international standardsCoordinate closely with ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and structural teams to ensure seamless system integration

Regulatory & Authority Compliance

Ensure full compliance with SCDF regulations, Fire Safety Act, BCA requirements, and relevant codes of practice

Prepare and submit fire safety documentation, including plans and calculations

Liaise with QPs, RIs, and authorities to secure approvals and clearances

Project Execution

Manage fire protection works across the full project lifecycle, from design to installation and commissioning

Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements from vendors and subcontractors

Address site issues, conduct risk assessments, and ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery

Testing & Commissioning

Oversee system testing, inspection, and commissioning, including coordination with ACMV systems such as pressurisation and smoke extraction

Ensure proper documentation, handover, and compliance with FSC requirements

Mentor and support junior engineers and draftsmen in technical and project matters

Drive knowledge sharing on fire safety standards, compliance, and industry best practices
