Position Description (Summary):

The Store Clerk is responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks related to store operations. This includes receiving and processing shipments, update stock movement transactions in SAP, managing inventory and maintaining accurate records.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1 Provide Material Picklist to Store keepers to retrieve the Parts for Production

·       Update stock movement in SAP

·       Print Material Document for Production Material handler to endorse good received.

2 Process Customers orders due and Provide Finished Good Delivery Picking to Storekeeper to pick the Finished Good:

Follow up Post Good Issue in SAP once Delivery has completed (Please check that Delivery notes are endorsed by customers).

3 Process Incoming Purchases into SAP, ensure all documentation are in place.

·       Delivery Order (Qty /Item checked by Store keeper)

·       Ensure COC/COA is provided by Suppliers

·       Issue store in label for parts received.

4 Process Incoming receiving for Consigned Materials.

·       Coordinate with Customer for any discrepancy

5 Update stock movement of Finished Goods and raw parts into in SAP after verified by Storekeeper.

·       Ensure Stock items (Part number, qty) tally with SRN.

6 Stock Counting

·       Assist on monthly stock count.

·       Ensure Stock Count Accuracy

7 Equipment Maintenance and Control

·       Ensure all Store’s equipment is maintained in safe and working condition

·       Regular check that all equipment is calibrated and recorded.

·       Ensure Store records for safety & procedures are properly kept and updated

8 Cost Control

Monitor and control costs related to transportation, storage and handling of materials to optimize operational budgets

• Under direct supervision, plans sourcing of goods and services to support manufacturing tactical and strategic plans at the plant level.
• Complies with and executes Category Management strategies in accordance with policies and procedures.

We are looking for a Technical Executive for one of our international shipowner clients. The incumbent will be responsible for the efficient execution of the technical and purchase key processes to support the company's fleet of vessels. TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, coordinate and ensure timely follow-up of class and flag requirements in order that the vessel attains sea worthiness and commercial readiness.
  - Determine class / flag requirements and apply to class / flag administration for surveys, inspections, related issues and special requests.
  - Pre-preparation of draft specification for modification / alternation to vessel for compliance of Class / Statutory requirements.

PURCHASING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and Issue Purchase order (PO)
  - Ensure approval is obtained and proper closure of the purchasing activities for each technical purchase requirement.
• Plan, coordinate and ensure that all requirements are delivered to vessel on time, at the right cost and specifications.
  - Identify and source for vessels requirements (i.e. general store, spares, provision and bonded stores).
  - Plan, coordinate (with Operations and Fleet Personnel Department) and monitor the delivery of stores / spares to vessels in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  - Solicit vessels feedback on supplies and follow up on payments, non-conformities deliveries(quality, quantity, specifications) with respective suppliers.
  - Monitor spare parts readiness and plan delivery to vessel at the earliest convenient port.

  - Ensure that all documents are properly filed and maintained for ease of reference and retrieval during audits.

Job Summary:

The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving and storing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, handling packing and labelling, and issuing parts to support operational and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Receive incoming materials, verify delivery notes against actual items, and store them in designated locations within the warehouse.

* Accurately enter details of received goods into the system.

* Locate and pick required parts from inventory and stage them at designated areas for easy access by the project manufacturing team.

* Pack and label inventory items systematically to ensure efficient tracking and retrieval for project use.

* Assist with the movement of equipment and materials using a forklift, where required.

* Print store purchase order receipts and verify quantities against supplier invoices.

* Assist technicians with the withdrawal and issuance of materials from store inventory.

* Any other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

* Min Nitec in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

* With 2 years of relevant work experience.

* Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.

* Forklift license preferred (or willing to obtain).

* Familiar with delivery, packing, and import/export documentation.

Duty and Responsibility:

1. Procurement engineers oversee the purchase of technical equipment for industrial operations.

2. They collaborate with designers/Site to determine the equipment needed to complete manufacturing or construction projects according to specifications, research vendors for that equipment, then order it.

3. These engineers negotiate purchase agreements with vendors and award contracts to vendors for equipment.

4. They also monitor any adjustments to the equipment needed to maintain an optimum supply of equipment to complete projects on time and within budget.

5. A procurement engineer must possess high-level organization and record-keeping skills to maintain a consistent flow of equipment to the company’s factories or worksites and ensure vendors are fulfilling the terms of their contracts. Influencing and negotiation skills are also crucial for procurement engineers, as it’s up to them to negotiate the purchasing agreements for engineering equipment and hire vendors for projects.
