Work Arrangement
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Flexibility required for after-hours or weekend work based on project deployment schedules (compensated accordingly)
- Hybrid work setup: On-site & remote support across multiple locations, with occasional regional travel
Your Role
As an Assistant Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional post-installation support and maintaining high-performance AV/UC systems for clients.
- Delivering a premium post-sales service experience, ensuring client satisfaction and system reliability
- Planning and executing preventive maintenance while taking ownership of corrective actions
- Performing remote and on-site troubleshooting for AV and video conferencing systems
- Supporting system upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration changes
- Working closely with clients, vendors, and suppliers to resolve issues within SLA timelines
- Preparing detailed service reports after each maintenance or support activity
- Reviewing and updating technical documentation such as schematics and BOMs
- Analysing recurring issues and recommending improvements for system performance
- Escalating complex technical challenges to manufacturers when necessary
- Supporting user training and system handovers post-commissioning
Key Requirements:
- NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, IT, Electrical Engineering, AV Technology, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in AV systems, technical support, or maintenance
- Basic familiarity with AV/UC platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Extron, Poly, Cisco, Logitech, or Biamp
- Understanding of networking and AV technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, Dante, AVB, H.264, HDCP) is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical environment (training will be provided)
