Job Scope

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for management reporting and SGX related compliance activities. You will drive the management reporting process, including analysis of monthly, quarterly andannual financial performance across business units, and accurate reporting of group financials. You will be responsible for preparation of financial presentations, board papers and insights for senior leadership discussions. You will oversee SGX reporting requirements, ensure compliance with listing rules and timely submissions, consolidation and perform in depth analysis of results across different business units and provide strategic recommendations. Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of GRM Credit Risk Asia Pacific ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

Key responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the finance function for a property management company responsible for two commercial office buildings in Singapore. The role is expected to broaden over time as additional assets are acquired. You will provide financial stewardship across reporting, compliance, operational finance, controls and team leadership to safeguard the company’s financial health and integrity.

You will manage a team of five and serve as a key business partner to senior management, providing insights to support decision-making and long-term planning.

1.  Financial leadership

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Deliver timely insights on asset performance to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Strengthen financial policies, processes, systems, and internal controls to improve efficiency, governance and risk management.

2.  Financial reporting & compliance

• Oversee timely and accurate month-end close and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Singapore statutory, regulatory and tax requirements.
• Lead statutory audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax agents, banks and regulatory bodies.

3.  Property finance & operations

• Monitor and explain asset-level performance, including revenue, operating expenses, capital expenditures and key operating metrics.
• Oversee cash flow management and treasury activities, including rent collection, vendor payments, and liquidity planning.
• Support lease administration from a financial perspective, including tenant billing, receipts and reconciliations.
• Oversee tax matters including corporate income tax, GST and property tax.

4.  M&A and post-deal integration

• Support the investment team with due diligence and transaction-related financial analysis.
• Lead finance integration for newly acquired assets, including entity setup, chart of accounts, reporting timelines, controls, and handover to steady-state operations.

5.  Team management & development

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team, including capability building and succession planning.
• Promote a collaborative, disciplined control environment and continuous improvement mindset.

6.  Stakeholder management

• Partner with Asset Management, Property Management, and senior leadership to translate financial results into actions.
• Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.

Qualification and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, ideally in real estate.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of Singapore financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving ability.

As a business banking manager, you will be involved in acquiring new-to-bank Small Medium Enterprise (SME) clients and introducing the full spectrum of business banking products and services to meet the financial needs of the SME client.  

Key responsibilities:

• Acquire new-to-bank borrowing accounts through cold-calling and referrals
• Provide good customer service to clients by understanding their needs
• Engage in ongoing conversations with existing and new clients to understand their needs and requirements to assess how the bank is able to help them to protect and grow their wealth to achieve their business financial goals (ie. commercial property loans, trade facilities, asset-based financing etc.
• Provide accurate information regarding the benefits and privileges that the client will enjoy as a customer of the bank
• Comply with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years of sales / business development experience
