Role Description

Team Leadership & Technical Direction

As a Technology Strategist in the CTO Office at Cloud and Data Centre Solutions (CDCS), you will report directly to the CTO, CDCS to play a strategic and cross-functional role in shaping the future of cloud capabilities within the business unit. We are looking for a Project ExecutionManager to lead on-site execution and delivery of marine HVAC projects. Thisrole focuses on on-site execution and delivery, covering installation,commissioning, and final handover, with strong emphasis on site presence andhands-on execution capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of on-site execution and project delivery (schedule, quality, and safety);
• Take full ownership and lead installation activities for both ducting systems and equipment installation;

1. Project Site Leadership & Execution

◦ Lead all on-site construction activities, including coordinating with sub-contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress.

◦ Develop and implement site work schedules, monitor daily progress against project milestones, and proactively resolve delays or bottlenecks.

2. Safety, Health & Compliance (SHS)

◦ Enforce strict compliance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, Building Control Act, and all relevant local construction regulations.

◦ Conduct daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and site safety audits to promote a zero-incident culture.

◦ Ensure all workers on-site are properly trained, certified, and equipped with necessary PPE; manage risk assessments and hazard mitigation plans.

3. Stakeholder & Team Management

◦ Liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and local authorities (e.g., BCA, LTA) to coordinate approvals, resolve design issues, and address on-site queries.

◦ Manage the on-site team, including supervisors, foremen, and sub-contractors; assign roles, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure efficient workflow.

◦ Communicate project updates, progress reports, and issues to the project management office (PMO) and senior management regularly.

4. Cost & Resource Control

◦ Monitor project budgets, track material usage, labour costs, and equipment expenses to prevent cost overruns.

◦ Manage material deliveries and inventory to avoid shortages or wastage; coordinate equipment usage and maintenance to minimise downtime.

◦ Review work progress claims and sub-contractor invoices for accuracy before approval.

5. Quality Control & Handover
