About the Role

We are hiring a HardwareEngineer to own the full hardware quality loop – from RMA diagnostics andhands-on rework, through root cause analysis, to driving design improvementsthat feed back into production. This is not a pure bench technician role and nota pure design role. It sits squarely in the middle: you diagnose real-worldfailures, identify systemic issues, update schematics and BOMs, and work withour contract manufacturer (CM) to ensure changes land in production.

You will be the single point ofownership for returned hardware, and the bridge between field failures anddesign improvements. Job Description

The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) of the National University of Singapore is hiring one Research Engineer (RE) to assist the Principal Investigator in the research area of digital concrete with a focus on the design, printing, testing. 
 

The selected RE is required to work on 
•    Development of durable construction materials from locally available resources for marine applications.
•    Assessment of environmental impact of the developed concrete mixture.
•    Evaluation of the service life of the developed durable concrete mixture. 

Job Requirements

•    Possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering with demonstrated experience in designing and conducting experiments, statistical data analysis and possess excellent quantitative, and analytical skills. 
•    The ideal candidate is expected to be self-motivated and can work in an interdisciplinary environment.
•    Has the ability to work with minimal supervision, plan and perform experimental and field work, and present results in group meetings.
•    Due to an international working environment, strong written and spoken communications skills will be required. 
•    Prior experience in digital concrete, design, low-carbon concrete is essential to the posted job.
