Feasibility Review

Technical Interception
Identify and intercept abnormal items in the BBS that exceed the physical limitations of the factory’s machinery (e.g., extremely tight bending radii, ultra-short lengths that cannot be processed) before they reach the production stage.

Technical Clarification & Modification
Upon identifying unmanufacturable drawings, promptly communicate with the client’s site engineers to propose alternative fabrication solutions (e.g., adjusting bending radii or modifying joint designs). Production orders are released only after mutual agreement is obtained.

2. Rebar Cage Detailing & Nesting Optimisation

Detailing & Drafting
Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, internal BBS breakdowns, and 3D exploded views (where required) based on structural drawings and client requirements. Ensure drawings achieve first-time approval and sign-off from clients.

Nesting Optimisation (Core Profit Driver)
Utilise professional nesting software to optimise material usage through scientific cutting plans and offcut management for rebar cages and daily orders. Strictly control theoretical scrap rates in line with company targets.

On-site Fabrication Guidance
Provide on-site technical support for complex or newly designed rebar cages by guiding welding operators or manual tying teams during first-article assembly and jig setup.

3. Surcharge Calculation & Front-line Billing

Batch Pricing
Collect and verify Delivery Orders (DO) from logistics drivers, ensuring accurate “Time In” and “Time Out” stamps acknowledged by the client.

Profit Recovery
Integrate BBS processing data with DO timestamps to calculate applicable charges, including:

• Technical surcharges (special processing fees)

• Logistics surcharges (waiting time/demurrage, weekend or night delivery fees)

Client Confirmation & Handover
Explain surcharge breakdowns to client site technicians or supervisors, obtain written or email confirmation, and submit finalised records to the Commercial Back-office for monthly billing.

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd provides all aspects of cloud management, services, and solutions, from initial setup and migration to ongoing operations and optimization. Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.

You will be working side by side with the network core team in ensuring network availability and serviceability for a secure, resilient and stable distributed environment. Your primary responsibility is to support and maintain the network access layer for our enterprise networks. You will manage access to the wired and wireless networks; ensuring last-mile connectivity for multiple locations. In addition, you will also manage the network communications rooms at these locations; providing cabling interconnect services for structured cabling, and liaising with Facilities Management to ensure uninterrupted power and cooling delivery to the rooms. You may be called upon to support certain network functions in the Data Centre.

Manage wired and wireless network access infrastructure & support Data Centre network operations

• Administer and support network infrastructure including network routers, switches, wireless access points, WLAN controllers, AAA servers and encryptors
• Respond and diagnose tickets related to network access and performance issues
• Service and close support tickets to relocate or add client endpoints' wired network access
• Service and close support tickets to resolve client endpoints' wireless access
• Troubleshoot, triage and resolve client endpoints' 802.1X authentication/authorization access issues and escalate, if necessary, L2 and L3 issues
• Monitor availability of network access and provide immediate response and/or investigation to system alerts
• Troubleshoot and assist with root cause analysis of incidents replacing failed network components
• Support and perform routine automation tasks to ensure compliance for secure configuration, configuration backup management and routine firmware upgrades/updates
• Manage operational activities and implement changes
• Track network equipment support lifecycle, procure and support refresh activities to project closure and payment
• Track equipment maintenance support agreements and telco circuits contracts, procure contract renewal and make payment
• Support project teams in the delivery of wider IT service

Manage Network Comms Rooms at sites and Data Centre

• Standardise and provision cable interconnects for network access and Data Centre
• Respond and attend to alerts to resolve UPS and PDU faults
• Work with contractors to replace faulty rackmount UPS and PDU for Network Comms Rooms
• Interface and coordinate with Facilities Management for M&E issues (air-con, electrical, fire safety) for Network Comms Rooms
• Escort external vendors/contractors for network related activities

Inventory and Documentation

• Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of the environment
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on rack layout and cabling interconnects
• Manage and maintain up-to-date inventory control
• Perform periodic inventory audits and review
• Adhere to organisation procedure to retire obsolete equipment

Qualities We Value

• Preferably with formal technical certification such as Cisco CCNA
• Experience in scripting and programming with network automation tooling on  Ansible, Python, Terraform, GitLab is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation with good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise Architecture and C&S works and report to Senior Resident Architect (SRA) & Resident Architect (RA), to project completion and handover, ensuring compliance with regulations & client requirements.
• ARCHI RTO with background knowledge and experience on supervision of Architecture and C&S works
• Report to the Senior Resident Architect (SRA) and Resident Architect (RA) and ensure work carried out in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications
• Facade inspection and attend site walk with Owner and Consultants
• Highlight any critical issues, discrepancies and non-conformances/irregularities.
• Assist in the review of Main Contractor’s shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, trade demos etc.
• Assist the SRA and RA to prepare, maintain and update site report and records on project progress
• Monitor, report and assess site progress and quality standards
• Ensure the Contractors maintain safety, cleanliness and tidiness of work on-site

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in Architecture, Building Service or related disciplines from recognized tertiary institution
• Minimum 10 years of relevant practical experience in full-time site supervision of Building works, architectural elements and finishing works for building construction sites in Singapore
• Experience in glass curtain wall & precast panel facade preferred
• Accredited Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with IES
• Conversant in building statutory codes and requirements
• Familiar with BCA CONQUAS and Quality Marks assessment and Safety aspects in the construction industry
