Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant position for the “Immunological approaches to Chronic Hepatitis B Functional Cure” in the Hepatitis Research Unit, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The large burden of CHB leading to liver cancer and end stage liver disease, can be addressed by treatments leading to Functional Cure (HBsAg loss), associated with ~70% reduction in such outcomes. There are many new agents being evaluated but the likely successful combination will rely on reducing viral antigen burden and stimulating immune responses. Our study proposal will provide insights into immune mechanisms of HBsAg loss, a strategy to maintain long term reduction in qHBsAg and a proof-of-concept study of therapeutic vaccine using a highly immunogenic HBV-CPG vaccine in CHB populations most likely to respond, those with low levels of HBsAg, , more information on the department is available at Department of Medicine. Appointments will be made on a yearly contract basis.

Overview 

Do you want to lead marketing and commercial plans for one of our billion-dollar brands? P&G Brand Manager identifies business opportunities and works with the multi-functional team to build cohesive commercial plans! You are expected to lead and collaborate with different subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end plans for Vietnam via qualifying communication ideas, adjusting portfolio pricing and identifying shopping barriers and opportunities. 

Your Team 

You and other Brand Managers (each handling a brand/category) will report to the Senior Brand Manager or Brand Director for the Category or Business Unit. You will work extensively with colleagues from Analytics and Insights, Sales, Communications, Finance,  Research & Development etc.

• Demonstrate positive relationship building skills in initial engagements with multi-functional teams 

• Deliver Scorecard Business Targets, in line with the goals of the Business Unit 

• Deliver Category growth, market penetration and gaining of New Users via Products Innovation Design 

• Successful Design and Deployment of Marketing Toolkits for the Brand 

Responsibilities of the role 

• Identify consumers’ needs and wants for P&G’s products, and provide inputs to Research & Development and technical team to design the right package and formula to win with local consumers 

• Lead consumer researches to develop qualified brand concept, benefit and claims that addresses consumers’ unmet needs 

• Communicate with local partners, stakeholders and suppliers to drive P&G business initiatives 

• Lead creative agencies to develop communication ideas and execute TV copy production designed/customized for the cultural nuances of consumers 

• Develop initiatives fit-for-use toolkits (including copy, prints, digital i-banners, social & eCommerce contents, sampling trial toolkits, in-store activation and demos, etc.), and deploy/guide the delivery team for execution 

• Coordinate with R&D, Consumer Research teams to qualify the product and package through various tests. 

• Craft promotion/pricing strategy and customer/distributor trade terms with the local trade team 

• Work with technical team to find the best solution of supply chain to manage the product cost within affordable level 

Role Requirements 

• A college degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s is fine, preferably with some business focus) 

• Excellent forward-thinking, strategic and courageous leadership skills 

• Strengths with strategic and analytical thinking 

• An ability to drive innovation and brand growth 

• Strong ability to communicate and team capabilities 

• Knowledge of Vietnamese market will be a huge plus as role requires you to work on our product branding and executions related to the Vietnam market

About the team:

This role sits within the Customer Service team and supports the MariBank customer servicing operations. The role focuses on improving banking customer experience, customer service agent productivity, and operational efficiency across the customer service function.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the management of various Customer Service support functions such as system management, data reporting, and performance monitoring. These functions support the servicing of banking-related enquiries such as account servicing, payments, transfers, and card-related requests
• Drive the planning and implementation of new projects and initiatives to achieve continuous improvement in ops productivity, customer experience, and risk management
• Key product owner for all systems used by the Customer Service team (including ticketing systems, contact centre tools, and chatbot solutions that support the servicing of banking customers)
• Lead the rollout and enhancement of chatbot and manage a team of chatbot agents in ongoing iteration
• Drive system enhancements from end-to-end to improve user experience and efficiency
• Manage a team of support agents in their daily BAU work
• Leverage data analytics to generate actionable insights for the Customer Service team to improve operational performance and customer experience
• Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to ensure achievement of KPIs and business objectives for the Customer Service team
• Collaborate closely with Customer Service Operations, Product, and Technical teams to understand customer pain points, improve service processes, and enhance the overall customer journey

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and above in any field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in contact centre support role or similar experience is a plus
• Prior experience in banking / financial services is a plus
