The NUHS@Home nurse provides nursing care to patients who require acute medical treatment but who are able to be cared for in their homes rather than in a hospital. We are seeking one highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team at the Synthetic Biology for Clinical and Technological Innovation (SynCTI), Synthetic Biology Translational Research Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and the National Centre for Engineering Biology (NCEB).  

The selected Research Fellow will work collaboratively with the Principal Investigator (PI) and our research team on projects aimed at advancing sustainable bioproduction. Appointments will be initially made on a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension. PhD holders with no experience are welcome to apply.

Ideal candidates will possess expertise in metabolic pathway engineering, microbial engineering and the development of cell factories for bioproduction. We particularly encourage applicants with a background in metabolic engineering, genome editing and bioprocess development for biochemical production. The Executive, Fleet Quality is a critical role focused on ensuring our fleet remains in peak condition through meticulous damage assessment and effective partner workshop management.

How You Will Make An Impact 

• Accident & Damage Claims Processing for the day-to-day of assigned accident and damage cases, including liability assessment, quotation generation, updating of case trackers and handover for billing.

• Support Workshop Management in oversight of vehicle repair progress and throughput across external and fleet partner workshops. Identify and flag anomalies or outliers in workshop delivery schedules or repair quality to maintain fleet availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing purchase orders, quotations, and ad-hoc requests
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers on order status, deliveries, and invoices
• Maintain and update data records, contracts, and supplier databases
• Support sourcing activities including obtaining and comparing quotations
• Coordinate with internal departments on operation needs and delivery timelines
• Assist in invoice verification and follow up on payment matters with the finance team
• Prepare reports and assist with documentation for audits
• Perform general administrative duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' Levels or equivalent; Diploma in Business Administration or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of relevant administrative experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills (To be able to communicate with Mandarin Speaking Clients)
• Meticulous, organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently as well as in a team

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow up on outstanding payments promptly.
• Monitor customer accounts for overdue invoices and send regular payment reminders and statements of account.
• Liaise with clients to resolve billing queries and discrepancies.
• Match payments received against invoices issued to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare weekly aging reports and accounts receivable summaries.
• Ensure accounts receivable records comply with financial policies and standards.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Prepare, review, and submit monthly project claims to clients for certification, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements and submission deadlines. Upon receipt of the certified claim, proceed to prepare and issue the corresponding invoice.
