• Develop and maintain procurement strategies, sourcing plans, and package tracking registers in coordination with project teams

• Handle procurement for assigned packages, which may include (but are not limited to):

  • Valves (shutdown, control, safety/relief, ball, non-ball, check, DBB, SBB, special alloy valves)

  • Pig launching and receiving systems

  • Plates, clad pipes, helideck structures, and bearings

  • Cranes and material handling equipment (pedestal cranes, overhead travelling cranes, lifting tools)

  • Hot water calorifiers, circulation pumps, and related systems

• Prepare commercial bid evaluations, lead vendor negotiations, and make award recommendations

• Coordinate with engineering and QA/QC teams to ensure technical and quality compliance

• Monitor supplier documentation, manufacturing progress, inspections, and delivery schedules

• Coordinate expediting, logistics, and delivery to fabrication yards or project sites

• Manage deviations, variations, and claims in collaboration with contracts and project control teams

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and client standards

• Report procurement status, risks, and mitigation plans to management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline

• At least 8–10 years of relevant procurement experience in EPC / EPCI or oil & gas projects

• Experience managing multiple mechanical and equipment packages across different projects

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and contract execution

• Good coordination skills with engineering, QA/QC, logistics, and project teams

• Strong organisational and reporting skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in the public healthcare sector as a Sustainability Lead. This role will be instrumental in advancing our organization's commitment to sustainability by leading initiatives in green procurement, conducting lifecycle carbon assessments (LCA), decarbonizing clinical practices, and leveraging behavioral science to drive environmentally responsible procurement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for integrating environmental considerations into procurement processes, ensuring the selection of sustainable products and services.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to identify and source environmentally friendly alternatives to current procurement practices.
• Monitor and evaluate procurement activities to measure progress towards net zero goals and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct comprehensive LCAs to analyze the environmental impact of products and processes throughout their lifecycle within the healthcare system.
• Utilize LCA findings to inform decision-making, identify opportunities for carbon reduction, and optimize resource utilization.
• Work cross-functionally with various departments to integrate LCA data into procurement decisions and clinical practices.
• Lead initiatives to reduce carbon emissions associated with clinical operations, including energy consumption, waste management, and transportation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement sustainable practices and technologies that minimize environmental impact while maintaining quality patient care.
• Provide guidance and support for the adoption of green technologies and practices in clinical settings.
• Apply principles of behavioral science to influence stakeholders' attitudes and behaviors towards environmentally sustainable practices.
• Design and implement educational programs, training sessions, and communication campaigns to promote awareness and engagement in green procurement and sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of behavioral interventions, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, public health, health economics, pharmaceutical or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience in procurement, sustainability, or healthcare management, with a focus on environmental sustainability preferred.
• Knowledge of lifecycle assessment methodologies and carbon accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively.
• Familiarity with behavioral science theories and techniques for influencing organizational behavior.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to promoting positive change within the healthcare sector.
• Candidates with Scope/Category 3 experience will be an added advantage.

About The Role

As a Manager/Senior Manager for the Strategic Procurement - General Services office, you will be based in ALPS HQ office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead RFPs for selected workstreams within General Services domain.

• Develop sourcing strategy and engage with relevant stakeholders in the PHIs and Clusters.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and identified Cluster domain champions to harmonize specifications and operational practice.

• Embed resiliency within each workstream as a means to ensure services and supply continuity for hospitals and patients.

• Identify cost containment opportunities to limit cost growth and deliver savings.

• Adopt a holistic risk-based approach in strategic procurement.

• Ensure completion of procurement within cycle time.

• Conduct regular vendor performance evaluation as part of value delivery under contract management.

• Ideate and execute digital & sustainability initiatives.

• Be part of the team and provide guidance to procurement domain leads.

• Be part of the ALPS ecosystem.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies requirement, policies and procedures as per ALPS Procurement Manual.

• Demonstrate high level integrity and help enforce compliance to procurement and HR policies with team members.

• Manage disputes between users, institution buyers, analyse the situation, arbitrate and provide solutions to the problem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce/Finance, Operations Management

• Must have working experience in a healthcare environment and/or with knowledge in services and non-medical supplies (for example logistics service, transportation service, ambulatory service, clinical service).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.

• Candidates with ability to analyze data (e.g., Tableau, advanced Excel) and background in healthcare or hospitality services and leadership experience preferred.
