This is an individual contribution role as a Plating Process Control Engineer in manufacturing engineering operations responsible for monitoring and controlling plating processes to ensure quality and yield targets while implementing process improvements and optimization initiatives. • Central point of contact for all local HSE related issues.
• Development and maintenance of an effective Health and Safety Management System in line with Group policies and best practices.
• Development of an effective HSE strategy to support continuous improvement.
• Undertake accident/incident investigations and prepare/provide accident/incident reports where necessary.
• Undertake HSE inspections, audits and training where required.
• Provide appropriate advice to managers offering a practical and informed interpretation of Company Policies and H&S legislations in response to routine and non-routine matters to enable all operations to function effectively and consistently within established guidelines.
• To keep appraised of current HSE management best practice and theory in order to effectively advise and ensure relevant application in line with business objectives, its culture and environment.
• Maintain effective working relationships with key people in all Businesses by ensuring an appropriate level of interaction, including reactive and proactive site visits and regular written/verbal communications.
• Ensure HSE remains a focused strategy and support the management in identifying priorities and monitoring performance against strategic objectives.
• At all times exercise due regard for the health and safety of all in line with Company’s policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in safety, health & environment management in a similar industry such as oil & gas , chemicals industries.
• Must have Level C certificate.
• Certified Workplace Safety & Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager with the Singapore Civil Defense Force.
• Demonstrate exemplary SHE behavior and motivate others to follow.
• Able to analyze and conduct critical thinking to identify gaps and improvements required

Job Responsibilities:

• To act as the primary contact person for liaising and coordinating with internal and external parties ensuring project requirements at customer site are complied
• Lead a team of professionals through all phases of project development, implementation and completion
• Oversees daily project operation, logistics arrangements, and customer’s arrangement
• Project site management and coordination
• Assist in preparing and updating project administration documents, timelines, meeting notes, external contractor briefing notes and status report
• Work closely with customer site operations to understand their requirements and seek clarifications if needed
• To participate in contractor meetings as and when required by customer
• Assist the Manager to manage customer care program. To monitor customer satisfaction, complaints, changes in customer’s people, equipment, processes, materials used and business strategies
• To ensure all ISD personnel and sub-contractors adhere to the safety, Environmental and Health policies and requirements. Review the ISD personnel and sub-contractor work activity and review their JSRA
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent
• Possessed Minimum Class 3/3A license
• Safety Orientations Course (Working in Power Plant and Construction)
• Supervise Work at Height Course (preferred)
• Candidates with high pressure hydro jetting experience will be an advantage
