We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accountant/Finance Manager to lead the Finance function for a group of companies with diverse business activities, including the trading of engineering products. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management and Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement of group companies.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes across all entities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management packs, including detailed business analysis and performance metrics.

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Develop financial forecasts and scenarios to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the trading, manufacturing, or engineering industry is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

·     Prepare and submit quarterly and yearly statutory returns in accordance with MAS reporting requirements.

• Responsibilities

• Oversee all tax compliance matters, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing.
• Prepare and/or review annual tax returns, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and review monthly tax provisions and tax accounting reports, including deferred tax computations.
• Conduct tax research and identify opportunities for tax planning and process improvements.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on tax-related queries, audits, and investigations.
• Provide advice and support on tax compliance requirements and implications as needed.
• Review and advise on tax-related clauses in contracts, including project tenders and procurement agreements.
• Stay updated on new tax legislation and regulatory changes, ensuring timely implementation and compliance.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in taxation, customs, and finance.

• Candidates with over 5 years of tax experience in commercial or professional firms are preferred.

• Prior experience in audit or tax firms is an advantage.

• Background in tax consultancy is highly desirable.

• Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.

• Knowledge of Singapore and Indonesia tax regulations is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Position: Taxation Accountant / Manager

Salary: $4,000 and above
Transport: Company transport provided for employees on the 8:00am–5:00pm shift
