The job role

This role is full time permanent position managerial role within the Finance Department.

This organization,a subsidiary of a Public Listed Company is a forward looking organization specializing in business travel support services. They have been in the business of providing quality chauffeured limousine services and hire-and drive car rental for over two decades in Malaysia. Currently they are looking for accounting qualified candidates to become part of the Finance team to manage the full functions of accounting and finance of the organization at Bandar Bukit Jalil in outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. 

The job role

This role is full time permanent position within the Finance Department.

The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions within the Finance Department. Main responsibilities will be to manage full set of accounts and preparation of financial and management reporting.

Key duties:

*Production of month end management accounts including P&L,balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.

*Management of accruals,prepayments,depreciation and petty cash month journals.

*Reconciliation of monthly key ledger balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.

*Maintain accounting records and database.

Candidate Profile and attributes

We are looking for candidates who would have a professional qualification ACCA or CIMA. Candidates with bachelor degree in Accounting will be duly considered.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.

Candidates who are residing within 30 KM radius within the vicinity of Bukit Jalil will be considered most convenient to take up this position. These places include Kinrara Puchong, Old Klang Road, Sri Petaling, Cheras, Seri Kembangan and Kajang.

About the hiring company

Roles & Responsibilities

This position will report to the senior Group Finance Manager.

Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities within the group of subsidiary companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing company's full set of accounts and prepare and produce basic financial reporting for the management.

Key duties:

*Production of month end management accounts including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.

*Management of accruals, prepayments,depreciation and petty cash monthly journals.

*Reconciliation of monthly key ledger balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.

*Complete management reporting activities such as analysis and reconciliation reports.

*Maintain accounting records and databases.

Candidate Profile & Attributes

*Malaysians age below 40.

*Possess Bachelor degree in Accountancy or Professional qualification ACCA (Graduate or finalist).

*Candidates who have prior audit experience would be advantageous and a big plus to consider.

*Candidate for this role should be technical competent and up to date with all relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards.

To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates with good spoken and written command of English and conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.

We are looking for candidates with positive work attitudes and who can take on challenging work. The successful applicants will need to have strong technical accounting skills, be prepared to be hands on and deal with details.
