Job Description

• Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible
• Handling the full spectrum of Financial and management accounting which includes providing timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis the result of the company’s performance.
• In charge of preparing financial statement
• To ensure smooth accounts team daily operation
• Plan, coordinate and execute audits
• Preparing ECI and corporate tax reporting
• Account reconciliation and analysis and coordinate monthly closing

• Providing services in conjunction with the FP&A function

Job requirement

Job Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Independently manage the full finance and accounting functions of Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST) and company accounts, including review of work performed by team members.
• Handle full sets of accounts from source documents to financial statements, covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
• Perform monthly and year-end closing, including preparation of management accounts, supporting schedules, intercompany reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports for group consolidation and management review.
• Group Reporting for US (Must be strong in IFRS and consolidation)

Statutory & Compliance

• Prepare and submit statutory filings, including GST returns, Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI), and corporate income tax computations.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in compliance with the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA), Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS/FRS), and other relevant regulations.
• Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audits, including coordination for audited financial statements.

Stakeholder & External Liaison

• Liaise independently with external auditors, tax agents, banks, vendors, regulatory authorities, and council members.
• Act as the key finance point of contact for MCST-related financial matters.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow

• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for managed properties.
• Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow and manage payments, collections, and banking matters to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Operations & Coordination

• Monitor and coordinate with on-site administrative staff on invoice submissions and supporting documentation.
• Serve as the liaison between the finance department and operations managers to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.

Management Support

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
• Undertake other finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Candidates applying for the Finance Manager position must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Prior experience handling full sets of accounts, preferably in property management, real estate, or MCST environments.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

We are looking for an Experienced Investment Analyst (Public Equities) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Generate strong and consistent alpha applying a bottom-up, fundamental investment process.
• Initiate and conduct in-depth, high-quality fundamental equity analysis of assigned publicly traded securities, to identify undervalued stocks with the potential to generate good returns over the long-term.
• Evaluate corporate financial statement outputs to assess the worth of the company using multiple techniques such as discounted cash flow analysis, price-to-earnings ratio and price-to-cash flow ratios.
• Structure, develop and communicate the key drivers of the business, valuation and investment recommendations on individual securities, as well as provide views on the attractiveness of relevant industries.
• Assist in portfolio monitoring (provide direction and advice on buy/sell/hold recommendations) and risk management (exposure, hedges etc.)
• Monitor, interpret and react to major company developments, and identify macro themes and trends affecting global supply chains and industries under your coverage.
• Monitor industry and market trends for changes and investment opportunities by staying up-to-date with latest industry and company information.
• Portfolio management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or other technical/ analytical fields preferred.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in public equities, private equity and/ or venture capital.
• Possess expertise in financial modelling and valuation, financial statement analysis, due diligence and data analysis.
• Possess astute commercial sense, strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Dependable, positive, warm, kind, trustworthy, and efficient.
• You must be a self-starter, with a thirst for learning and be comfortable expressing your point-of-view.
• Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and work both independently and as a productive member of project teams.
