Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic business partner to functional and regional leaders, providing financial insight and analytical support to drive decision‑making and operational performance.

This role leads the development, refinement, and communication of the company’s financial forecasts—including revenue, expense, and cash flow projections—by synthesizing business trends, operational drivers, and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with corporate and external clients
• Lead financial forecasting, scenario planning and the development of business cases to support strategic initiatives and commercial decisions
• Act as a key business partner to internal stakeholders and external customers, supporting financial discussions, performance reviews and commercial negotiations
• Monitor operational costs and spending, perform variance analysis and recommend cost control actions.
• Support pricing reviews for new projects, new business RFPs and contract renewals.
• Manage and maintain the billing database to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
• Review process and control POs ensuring compliance with internal and external policies.

Qualifications Summary

Experience:

• This position requires min 5 years of relevant experience in automating finance tasks.
• Experience in the MNC and logistics industry is an advantage.

Education:

• Min Diploma in Accounting or finance

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high level accuracy in financial data preparation and entry.
• Proficient in accounting systems and financial software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet/analysis tools.

My client is a leading global hedge fund with a well-established and growing APAC presence. They are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to their Singapore-based team, this is a newly created headcount driven by business growth.

The Role

You'll work closely with senior management and internal business stakeholders, providing analytical support that directly informs strategic and commercial decisions.

On the FP&A side, you'll be building financial models to assess business opportunities and strategic initiatives, as well as preparing monthly and quarterly dashboards with meaningful business insights. You 'll be expected to model deal terms, evaluate financial impact, and plug into live business decisions.

The team is small and flat, offering strong visibility and plenty of room to grow.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial services — sell side, buy side, or asset management background is a must. Candidates from consulting or M&A backgrounds are are welcome
• Strong financial modelling skills
• candidates from consulting or M&A backgrounds with heavy Excel exposure are welcome
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA) and PowerPoint, Tableau is a plus
