Requirements

Job Description:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and departmental performance analysis).
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and coordinating financial data collection across departments.
• Support corporate tax, GST, transfer pricing documentation, Pillar 2 compliance, and liaise with external tax advisors.
• Prepare consolidation reporting packages, schedules, and adjustment entries for Japan headquarters in accordance with group reporting requirements.
• Respond to accounting, tax, and consolidation-related queries from HQ while ensuring consistency of financial data across related entities.
• Support intercompany financing activities, including loan administration, cash management, settlements, interest calculations, and compliance documentation.
• Handle communication, reporting, and meeting coordination with Japan headquarters in Japanese and English.
• Liaise with Japanese banks regarding loans, account administration, contractual matters, and required documentation.
• Drive process improvement, standardization, and support cross-functional collaboration with finance and treasury teams.
• Assist the Planning Manager with ad-hoc projects, regional initiatives, investment-related matters, and other corporate planning activities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or other finance-related fields
• Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese speaking internal/external stakeholders from Japan HQ & Banks
• Min 2 years of related work experience

You will drive strategic initiatives through the Community Silver Trust (CST), assisting eligible community care organisations optimise their donations. By collaborating closely with partners, you will guide the effective use of matched funds to enhance services, build capabilities, and address emerging healthcare challenges in alignment with national priorities for seniors and the broader population. 

• Evaluate funding proposals and and guide eligible community care organisations in developing strategic initiatives that maximise their matched funding opportunities.
• Monitor project implementation and outcomes, ensuring alignment with funding guidelines while supporting partners to enhance service impact.
• Work with community care partners to identify service enhancement opportunities and develop proposals that address emerging needs.
• Analyse sector trends and project outcomes to improve grant effectiveness and support evidence-based decision making.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with stakeholders including MOH, MSF and SGEnable for seamless grant administration and post-pilot scaling/ mainstreaming.
   

Job Requirements:

• A degree, with disciplines in Healthcare Management, Public Policy or Social Sciences preferred. Experience in community care sector would be advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven with ability to anticipate challenges and develop preventive solutions.
• Demonstrate adaptability and resilience when managing change and ambiguity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Takes initiative in improving processes while maintaining meticulous attention to details.
• Proficient in data analytics and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
