Responsibilities:

• Lead the procurement organization for Singapore and Malaysia operations, providing coaching, direction, and escalation support to ensure effective execution and team development.
• Drive procurement KPI performance, including on-time delivery (OTD), delinquency, push/pull/cancel actions, late release, and purchase price variance (PPV), aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver competitive advantage, including supplier selection, development, consolidation, and implementation of strategic supplier initiatives.
• Lead Global Purchase Family or Regional Commodity sourcing activities, with full accountability for sourcing decisions, material deflation targets, and alignment with global and regional strategies.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance expectations are met across cost, quality, delivery, and risk; lead corrective action and supplier improvement initiatives as required.
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve quality, fulfillment, productivity, and cost objectives while managing contractual and commercial risk.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, services, and supplies necessary to support manufacturing and operational requirements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards.
• Analyze market conditions, cost drivers, supplier capabilities, and pricing trends to inform sourcing decisions and negotiation strategies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations to support supplier qualification, NPI activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and review bid packages, and coach procurement team members on sourcing strategies, negotiations, and supplier engagement as needed.
• Support cross-functional and business initiatives as assigned, including special projects aligned with supply chain and operational excellence goals.
• Other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Min 5 years of procurement /supply chain experience in engineer-to-order manufacturing, OEM or aerospace environment
• Experience managing ~USD100M in direct spend with a proven track record of ~5% cost savings.
• Managed 50–100 suppliers across multiple countries

• Analyse and interpret the technical specifications and blueprints
• Ensure that the project is within the stipulated timeline, budget, quality standard, and high safety
• Knowledgeable of local codes and regulations for electrical building services
• Facilitate the construction and installation of the electrical equipment and its components in accordance with the specifications and standards
• Checks and reviews detailed electrical construction drawings to meet design standards and minimize errors
• Responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of automated machines, containing software as the major component
• Perform electrical and electronic conceptual details design work.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities on their engineering request
• Design, Engineer, and provide optimized solutions to meet project & client requirements
• Support the site team in resolving issues during installation, testing & commissioning
