Responsibilities

Reporting Requirements & Architecture Design

• Own and lead the Datamart reporting workstream for the MX.3 transformation programme, covering all user streams: Front Office (PnL, positions, trading blotters), Back Office (settlements, confirmations, nostro), Market Risk (VaR, stress testing, sensitivities), Credit Risk (PFE, CVA, CCR), and Finance (accruals, mark-to-market, P&L attribution).

• Develop and configure all Murex Datamart objects: dynamic tables (PL, CS, DT, MV, LRB, PLVAR), feeders, batch of feeders, processing scripts, scanner templates, extractions, reporting tables, and pre/post filter conditions.

• Design and implement Simulation-based Reports and Risk Matrix-based reports for market risk and credit risk reporting consumers within the MX.3 platform.

• Configure and optimise EOD batch execution: implement parallel feeding strategies, resolve batch bottlenecks, tune query performance, and manage processing script sequencing within Control-M or equivalent job schedulers.

• Implement dataset historisation techniques within the Datamart to support time-series reporting, regulatory lookback requirements, and management information (MI) aggregation.

• Analyse and resolve discrepancies arising from filter condition changes, feeder configuration differences, or data model modifications between Datamart report runs.

• Define and execute Datamart-specific test cases for SIT and UAT; ensure all test documentation and deliverables are consistent with programme testing standards and acceptance criteria.

Project Management:

Technical Oversight:

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Requirements

• Knowledge in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, .Net) and frameworks.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within agreed timelines, cost, and scope.

• Manage and oversee project documentation and subcontractor-related matters.

• Perform system setup and database configuration, resolve technical and design issues.

• Provide support for IT infrastructure, including Microsoft and Linux operating systems.

• Possess knowledge of network switches and the design of network devices within the project scope.

• Carry out installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of IT-related issues.

• Be hands-on in providing guidance and conducting knowledge transfer to site engineers.

• Oversee project teams and subcontractors effectively.

• Host, manage, and present project meetings.

• Report project progress to the Project Manager and follow up on software development and site installation works.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security, or an equivalent discipline.

• Minimum 7 years of system-related experience.

• Experience in Project Management, IT Management Systems deployment, or equivalent.

• Proficient in networking, SQL, and Windows operating systems.

• Knowledge in the following areas:

 A. Cybersecurity

 B. SQL Management Studio applications and database table management

 C. Vulnerability assessment

 D. Software development concepts

 E. Setup and installation of access control systems (e.g. key management systems, CCTV, card readers, gantries)

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering with at least 6-8 years of experience in relevant fields 

• Must have experience with stakeholder management. Ideally with experience supporting VIP. 

• ITIL certified 

• Have experience supporting VIP users

• Experience with procurement including submit purchase request, verify invoices, etc.

• Would be good to have IT procurement experience. 

• Good written and interpersonal communication skills

• Need to be comfortable to do 24/7 standby (rotational), after office hours support as and when required
