Job Summary

Position: Senior Design Engineer (Civil & Structural) for Good Class Bungalows

Responsibilities

• Design Engineering: Perform civil and structural engineering design for Good Class Bungalows, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Structural Analysis: Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and ensure safety.
• Code Compliance: Apply BS/EU codes of practice to develop compliant structural designs.
• Concept Design: Create structural concepts focused on economic efficiency to optimize resource use and project feasibility.

Required Competencies and Certifications

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineering Board of Singapore.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering design.
• Compliance: Proficient in applying local design standards and codes throughout project execution.
• Software Skills: Proficient in engineering design software, including Tekla , Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, Midas, AutoCad, GStar, etc.
• Professional Status: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) status will be considered for company equity shares.

YOUR ROLE
·       Mentor/coach employees in Lean, Business Excellence & Six Sigma concept and knowledge
·       Identify value stream waste, coach and drive LEAN principle and methodologies for waste eliminations.
·       Facilitate and drive implementation of various site’s Operations Excellence programs, i.e. Site Classification Assessment, Kaizen, Productivity Improvement, Performance Management etc.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Independently lead a group of staffs to execute key improvement projects of Productivity, Cost and Quality to support Business Goals & Objectives.
• Possesses CI project leadership to ensure improvement projects / plans are implemented in a timely manner, well documented, presenting updates and outcomes of improvement initiatives and related activities.
• Work closely with operations to develop and deliver opportunities for improvements, with an action / strategic deployment plans.
• Pro-actively work with site in promoting continuous improvement (Kaizen) cultures across the operations; deliver
• Kaizen training & workshop, review & coach site on quality Kaizen,identify key Kaizen projects impacting business performance
• Work closely with site on Site Classification Assessment (SCA) deployment; develop and execute SCA support plan as functional expert, coach LEAN metrics & tools implementation, develop assessment schedule & conduct assessments, track & monitor DIY progress and through the knowledge and experience help to develop and improve the metrics’ content.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in LEAN / Continuous Improvement, conduct necessary trainings including LEAN games, SCA, Kaizen, structured problem solving and LEAN Introduction Training (LIT) as per LEAN plan.
• Provide Data Analysis insights using the latest tools like Power BI, Excel , VBA/ SQL Scripts etc.
• Prepare and review LEAN reports (CL KPIs, SCA, 5S, Kaizen, productivity, saving, budgeting and etc.), and ensure timely submission.
• Work on the SAP S4 Hana System and help in the trainings, UAT and Document creations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the preparation and review of tender drawings, method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, proposals etc.
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit
• Assist project site planning and programming when required
• Assist in developing power point presentation to seek Board or Management approval
  

Requirements:

• Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and Primavera P6
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety regulations

We are looking for a results-driven B2B Sales Executive to sell CCTV, door access systems, Wi-Fi networking equipment, and related solutions to commercial and industrial clients.

You will manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting and solution presentation to negotiation and closing – while building long-term client relationships.

About the Role

The Solutions Senior Project Engineer is responsible for executing engineering and design tasks for customer-specific solutions within the Solution Business Center Asia Pacific (SBC APAC). This role ensures that engineered systems meet customer specifications, industry standards, and quality expectations.
