Join MODEC’s Engineering Digital Transformation (EDX) team to modernise how engineering gets done. You will identify, design and implement workflow automation by customizing engineering software and complementary tools, building new features, and creating seamless interfaces with our Engineering DX Web Apps. You will perform detailed fit gap analysis of software capabilities against MODEC workflows, then translate engineering rules and constraints into robust, testable logic via scripting and integrations. Job Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering software functions and modules in detail to assess alignment with MODEC’s engineering workflows, documenting fit gap and proposing solutions or customisations
• Customize engineering software to fit MODEC’s workflows, implementing new features and extensions via the software’s scripting language, application programming interface (API), and configuration capabilities
• Develop and maintain automated interface connections between engineering software, Engineering DX Web Apps, and other generic tools, using programming code and relevant APIs to ensure robust data exchange, synchronization, and event-driven workflows
• Create and maintain data flowcharts for automation and optimization, clarifying inputs, transformations, and outputs for each workflow
• Ensure automation solutions and generated deliverables align with industry standards, classification society rules, and the company’s design policies and principles
• Define clear, testable, and technically feasible software requirements, including engineering calculations, data validation logic, and deliverable generation rules
• Support continuous assurance of automated engineering processes and outputs; collect and analyze feedback from deployments and incorporate improvements into engineering software customizations and interfaces
• Collaborate with internal departments and engineering SMEs to capture domain rules, constraints, and best practices; translate them into actionable logic/configurations within engineering software and integration layers
• Lead or participate in planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Report measurable impacts of engineering software customizations and integrations (e.g., processing time reduction, error rate trends, rework avoidance, deliverable throughput)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering
• Must have 5+ years in engineering software scripting/dev (e.g., Python, .NET/VBA, JavaScript, vendor APIs)
• Must have hands-on customisation/config of engineering platforms (e.g., AVEVA) using native scripting
• Proven experience building APIs/services linking engineering tools with web apps
• Oil & Gas EPC workflow/deliverables experience is a plus

Competencies

• Engineering platform expertise (AVEVA or equivalent); advanced MS Office

Coordinate with the engineering disciplines assigned to the project and work closely withproject management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations and construction team and meet or where possible to exceed on time deliverables maintaining the quality and safety.

Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to set up Engineering and Design systems, Engineering Schedule, Master document Register (MDR), Procurement Schedule. Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to issue all deliverables as per schedule. Develop Level 3 and Level 4 (MDR) schedules of Topsides and/or Marine engineering.

Coordinate with the Detailed Engineering subcontractors and Third-Party specialists for Topsides and/or Marine. Support Engineering Manager in forecasting, mobilizing and demobilizing engineering and design resources.

Ensure compliance with Company's Standards and Procedures with specific attention to change management and deviation approval process.

The Senior Lead Engineer – Technical Assurance is responsible for independently planning, managing, directing, and controlling the delivery of required engineering quality deliverables, ensuring alignment with specified requirements, timelines, and budgets. This role also plays a key part in the development and continuous improvement of the company’s corporate technical documents by incorporating lessons learned from the lifecycle of company facilities (FPSO) and integrating new technologies. Additionally, the Senior Lead Engineer manages changes to corporate technical documents throughout the facilities’ lifecycle and ensures the quality of engineering deliverables through continuous assurance and improvement initiatives.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the overall activities of corporate technical experts/authorities.

• Provide feedback on technical findings to the respective discipline expert/authority and assist in updating the latest company’s corporate technical documents.

• Coordinate the validation and analysis of lessons learned issues.

• Contribute to the improvement and optimization of discipline workflow processes, as requested.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering.

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in discipline engineering within the oil and gas sector for Bachelor’s degree holders, or a minimum of 14 years for Master’s degree holders.

• Lead level detailed engineering experience on at least one FPSO project and familiarity with market practices in the oil and gas sector.

• Proficient in applicable industry standards, software, specifications, and procedures relevant to the functional area.

Competencies:

Role Purpose

Senior Commissioning Engineer is responsible for ensuring the assigned systems are installed, tested and operating safely and efficiently. Senior Commissioning Engineer reports to Lead Commissioning Engineer.

Key Accountabilities

Commissioning Planning & Preparation

Commissioning Execution

- Responsible for successful and safe commissioning of the area / systems under the guidance of lead commissioning engineer following the commissioning strategy set by commissioning manager. - Leads commissionig Tech team on performing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities planned for the assigned systems, managing the interfaces with Construction and Pre-Operations teams, ensuring adherence to Operations safe system of work regarding all the assigned System Commissioning SoW. - Day to day manages the PTW, assigned technicians, operations support, supplier support and CLASS witness. - Execute the approved commissioning procedure including verification of performance standard, certification from Class Society and offer the test reports for signoff and assist in system dossiers completion for handover. - Responsible for any management of change within the system during commissioning phase. I&C - Engineering in Instrumentation or Equivalent

- track record of commissioning of at least 2 FPSO project with marine and topside modules. Minimum of 6 years work experience in EPC of onshore/offshore oil and gas or FPSO projects.

Responsible for supporting in safe, efficient, and compliant offloading and mooring operations by assisting the
Mooring Master in planning and execution; verifying vessel suitability and equipment certification; coordinating
ship/shore interfaces and communications; and monitoring technical parameters and safety checklists.

Exhibit a high standard of marine skills and safety behavior, acting as deputy to the Mooring Master (MM) in all relevant mooring operations. Also, under the guidance of the Mooring Master, the assistant is responsible for ensuring that mooring, unmooring, offloading operations, hose connection and disconnection, and tanker position keeping are carried out safely and efficiently. Ensure that mooring/unmooring and offloading hose rigging equipment are maintained, certified, and fit for use through timely inspection, servicing, and replacement when required.

Assist Mooring Master with conducting pre-arrival planning: review vessel particulars, mooring plans, boarding arrangements, manifolds, cargo/ballast readiness, tug requirements, pilotage, and weather/tide windows.

Ensure that mooring equipment and offload hose connection equipment are certified in a timely manner, in compliance with international and company requirements, and report any deficiencies to the Mooring Master; inspect mooring and offload hose connection equipment, including loose lifting appliances, before and after every offloading operation; participate in the coordination and execution of the six-monthly offloading hose inspection and the offload hose and mooring hawser change-out activities; and ensure any damaged equipment is promptly removed from service and proper maintenance or replacement is carried out following CMMS procedure.

Support training of relevant personnel in offloading operations as required; mentor rotational crews; and contribute to emergency preparedness and response, ensuring the protection of people, the environment, assets, and production continuity are in line with company procedures and international regulations.

Ensure the quality of tasks performed by vendors, by supervising the execution of the jobs, providing the proper condition to execute the activities, ensuring all 3rd party employees are properly trained, certified and acquainted with MODEC's procedures and standards.

Role Purpose

Senior MC Engineer works closely with the MC Coordinator and Commissioning Coordinator for timely population of CMS database, completion of the ITR, mechanical completion, commissioning completion in all the phases of project execution at module yards, integration yard, offshore. Senior MC Engineer reports to Lead MC Engineer / MC Coordinator.

Key Accountabilities

Job Description:

• Responsible for contributing to the management of all materials on the unit, by receiving, providing and backloading materials and samples, performing their proper preservation while onboard, and properly keeping material records updated and complete in the company's systems, in accordance with MODEC's procedures, thus contributing to Operations reliability and results achievement.

• Contribute to the accuracy of inbounding and outbounding processes, by checking their manifests, paperwork and integrity, including dangerous goods, closely following up material handling team, and communicating to Material Logistics Supervisor any abnormality found, in accordance with MODEC's procedures.

• Contribute to the proper storage and control of materials onboard, by correctly labelling the items, allocating them in stores and recording in the system, critically assessing storage situation that require reorganization and supporting on possible adjustments.

• Act proactively to safeguarding MODEC from noncompliance to legal/regulatory requirements and technical standards by meeting all technical specifications and procedures regarding material logistics and storage, attending internal/external audits, informing offshore leaderships and onshore departments and creating action plans regarding all nonconformities.
• Contribute to the integrity of the unit's stores, by performing basic preservation of materials and equipment within the work areas, as requested by the Material Logistics Supervisor, as well as maintaining stores and work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Contribute to an accurate inventory of all materials onboard, by conducting annual stock and inventory checks, as well as performing regular inventory checks, as requested by Material Logistics Supervisor.
• Support the Material Logistics Supervisor in the interface with onshore Material Logistics departments, by providing any information required regarding offshore operations.
• If necessary, support in the activities of inspection of luggage, people and cargo on the disembark from offshore units, in compliance with NORMAM 27 – item 0115, regarding dangerous items handling.
• Contribute to the proper waste management, by correctly identifying and labelling materials to be backloaded, and informing Material Logistics Supervisor for any critical material being outbounded.
• Planning and logistics ability to manage all materials onboard, due to the different locations and complex systems onboard which may be storing different materials.
• Manage deliveries and dispatches in a timely and thorough manner, due to the critical impacts that errors could cause, such as delays in the delivery of goods to the offshore facility, integrity of materials, operations performance.

• High School Degree is required.
