ROLE OVERVIEW

WeCraft is rebuilding its design bench, and this is the anchor architectural hire. We are seeking a Senior Architectural Designer who can both lead design and technical authorship and act as Project Architect on site — taking architectural delivery off the founders across the studio’s live and upcoming projects. You will work closely with, and to the architectural direction of, the Principal Architect, interpreting and extending WeCraft’s design language and design standards while exercising sound independent judgement.

You will lead architectural documentation from concept through construction, set and uphold the studio’s drawing and BIM standards, coordinate consultants, and — critically — go to site to check built work against the drawings, resolve construction queries and protect design integrity through implementation. You will be the senior point of architectural quality in Singapore and a mentor to our growing offshore technical-design bench.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

—  Lead the architectural and interior-architectural documentation of projects from concept and design development through construction-ready and for-fabrication sets, to WeCraft’s drawing and quality standards.

—  Act as Project Architect on site: conduct site visits and inspections, check build quality and workmanship against the design drawings, resolve site queries, and safeguard design integrity through construction.

—  Own multi-consultant coordination (MEP, C&S and specialists) and resolve complex constructability and code questions.

—  Liaise with authorities and Qualified Persons on submissions and approvals (BCA, URA, SCDF as applicable).

—  Set, document and enforce studio BIM, drawing and file-management standards across the Singapore and offshore teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Interactive Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field. Relevant professional experience in UX/UI, Interaction, or Product Design may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or related digital product design roles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, including user research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and delivered products.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of user-centred design, interaction design, usability, accessibility, and responsive design principles.

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Rooms Department in Singapore, the Guest Services Executive is responsible in playing a vital role in meeting and exceeding guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous service in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. As Guest Services Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Maintain operational standards to achieve efficiency, productivity and maximum guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Manage room control, monitor availability and efficient release of rooms for arrival guests.
• Read through guests’ arrival report and see to all guest’s requests and needs according to MOHG established services by guest categories standards.
• Familiar with room amenities, layout of categories of rooms, room rate structure, facilities and services available in the hotel.
• Provide recommendation for wine and dine, entertainment, tourist attractions, concierge services and information.
• Identify guests for meet and greet from the arrival and departure reports.
• Handling cashiering duties.
• Monitor major group movement and coordinate with the various departments.

• Attend scheduled meetings.

As one of the first few hires on the venture, you will shape the product to speak to the voice of the customer with your creative design expertise. 

Job Responsibilities
Design Strategy and Planning 

• Drive product design outcomes across key product areas, setting design direction for complex and strategic initiatives

• Define and execute design strategies, sprint goals, and experience principles that align with user needs, business objectives, product priorities, and brand direction

• Communicate the product vision, experience strategy, and design rationale clearly to internal teams, external stakeholders, and senior decision-makers

Product Design Execution, Visual Design & Design Systems 

• Create and execute low to high-fidelity designs, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, visual design comps, prototypes, and interaction states

• Shape the overall product and feature experience, ensuring individual features connect into a cohesive, intuitive, and scalable end-to-end user journey

• Produce high-quality visual design that elevates the clarity, consistency, credibility, and engagement of the user experience in line with the brand

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing stellar B2C products end-to-end, preferably fullstack web or hybrid apps

• Experience designing and delivering end to end UI and UX using tried and tested processes

• Strong experience to Agile delivery approach and related tools

Our client, a well-established interior design and renovation firm, is looking to engage an experienced Sales Interior Designer (Freelance) to manage client projects and drive sales outcomes.

This role is suited for individuals who are confident in handling end-to-end design and client management independently.

• Attend to customer enquiries and convert leads into projects
