This is a non-traditional Supply Chain Finance Manager role requiring a distinctive blend of finance, supply chain, industrial operations, and digital transformation expertise. Commodity Risk Management

Job Summary

Join our accounting team as a Finance Assistant to support daily financial operations, including accounts processing, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring accurate records and smooth workflows.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and within deadlines
• Prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, and assist with monthly closing activities
• Organize and maintain financial records and documentation in compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare audit documents for Singapore and overseas affiliates and branches
• Support the finance team with administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as assigned
• Perform intercompany billing to ensure accurate internal financial transactions
• Complete other assignments as designated by the supervisor

Required competencies and certifications

• Certification or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Demonstrate strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software
• Communicate effectively and collaborate within a multicultural team environment
• Demonstrate strong team work collaboration and sense of urgency (particularly on deadlines)

Job Descriptions

• Assist in issuing invoices using ERP system for local & oversea subsidiaries
• Record AR receipts into the accounting system and ensure up-to-date records
• Generate payment vouchers according to the payment cycle
• Ensure AP ageing is updated
• Review, check and verify staff claims
• Check vendors’ Statement of Accounts and ensure no invoices are omitted
• Assist in month end closing activities e.g., GL, accrual, prepayment entries
• Prepare and record all business transactions
• Maintain and review property asset & capital
• GST quarterly filling for Singapore registered entities and SST filing for overseas entities
• Work closely with local subsidiaries/auditors/tax agents/vendors to ensure that all financial transactions and records are in accordance with applicable local accounting standards, as well as statutory and tax requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy or relevant discipline.
• Experience with full sets of accounts, including consolidation
• Experience analyzing financial statements and can identity errors in financial reporting
