As a Senior Preschool Educator, you will play an essential role in mentoring the team to enhance their teaching and learning practices including the nurturing of trusting and respectful relationships with children, and the setting up of a secure and quality learning environment for children. • Lead the implementation of teaching and learning activities aligned to the Starbeam™ Framework
• Develop initiatives, practices and learning materials to enhance the quality of the learning environment
• Review and promote strategies to systemically document and evaluate children's learning and development
• Review children's engagement strategies in accordance with the NEL and Starbeam™ Frameworks
• Review the effectiveness of classroom management strategies
• Lead and ensure adherence to health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene practices in accordance with Star Learners' standard operating procedures
• Foster a culture of teamwork and positive workplace connections among colleagues
• Lead in the building of partnerships and collaborations with families to ensure continuity of care and learning between families and the Centre
• Lead the execution of joint projects with families and community stakeholders

Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching)/ Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education or its equivalent
• Certified by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) as an L2 teacher
• Fluent in English Language (spoken and written)
• At least 10 years of experience as an L2 Preschool Educator
• IT savvy
