Job Description

Purpose of the post

The PI lab aims to develop nucleic acids nanobiotechnology for RNA therapy and gene editing. Optimizing the performance of health systems is essential to ensuring the wellbeing and longevity of populations worldwide. Singapore is particularly well placed to lead research in this field as its health system has been consistently ranked as one of the best in the world based in independent evaluation with the Global Burden of Disease data. The Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP) aims to advance research in this area within the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore (NUS) as the leading centre for research in health systems in Asia with the following core functions:

1. Research: empirical and methodological research and evidence synthesis on health systems performance with a particular focus on Value Based Healthcare.

Location

Job description:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the education field, with prior knowledge of the British and American curriculum being a significant advantage. We value perseverance, dedication, and flexibility in our teachers.

Requirements:

• Ability to adapt teaching methodologies as needed

• Proactive attitude and initiative
• Punctuality and Strong time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, with at least 3 years of teaching experience. A PhD or Master's degree in Maths or related fields would be a significant advantage
• Understanding of the concept of tuition centers, where each student is treated as an individual rather than a number
• Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, public holidays and peak periods

Important note:

We are currently hiring only local full-time teachers. The monthly salary ranges from 5,000 SGD to 7,000 SGD, depending on years of teaching experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize lesson plans to meet students' needs
• Provide written feedback on student progress
• Create curriculum materials
• Identify and address learning obstacles
• Supervise students during peak hours
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required

Work schedule:

• Five or six days a week, depending on candidate availability
• Weekday hours: 09:00 to 20:00
• Weekend hours: 09:00 to 18:00 (lunch and dinner breaks arranged according to schedule)
• Schedule may be subject to changes during school breaks and public holidays
