Job Description

The Digital Ambassador is a key client-facing role responsible for enhancing the customer's banking experience through proactive assistance and guiding them towards digital solutions. This role requires an individual who is passionate about technology, customer-centric, and knowledgeable about the latest banking products and services. The Digital Ambassador will play a crucial role in promoting digital adoption and cashless transactions, thereby improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance:

  • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers with their general inquiries regarding banking services, products, and digital platforms.

  • Guide customers through self-service options available on digital channels (e.g., mobile banking app, online banking portal, ATMs).

  • Troubleshoot common digital banking issues and provide immediate solutions or escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.

• Digital Adoption and Education:

  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their banking needs and identify opportunities for digital adoption.

  • Educate customers on the benefits and functionalities of the bank's digital platforms, including online banking, mobile banking, and cashless payment solutions.

• Product and Service Knowledge:

  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the bank's latest products, services, and digital offerings.

  • Actively learn about new features and updates to digital platforms to effectively communicate them to customers.
    

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role. Experience with banking, or financial institution digital platforms and technology support is a strong advantage.

We are looking for a pre and post-sales technical support engineer for our Test and Measurement Instruments Business. You will require to provide pre-sales activities like the technical discussion to scope out customer requirements, propose the correct solution to fit the customer application and budget. Tender technical response and liaise with supplier to complete RFP. Post-sales support like maintaining the service and calibration center, training, troubleshooting,repair, and instrument calibration.

Requirements

• Mininum Diploma and above, preferably in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• Some working experience with General Test and Measurement instruments preferred. Applicants with knowledge of RF and Microwave instruments will be a bonus.

NIE invites suitable applications for the position of Senior Executive / Executive, Research Support and Grants Management with the Office for Research (OfR). The Research Support and Grants Management Unit manages pre and post award administration of internal and external research grants, enabling NIE faculty to secure research funding and administer grants effectively in compliance with funding and institutional requirements.  The unit also oversees all Research Support functions in capacity building faculty staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the NIE faculty in the administration of both internally-funded and externally-funded research grants at the pre and post-award stages.
• Facilitate research grant administration processes, including grant applications, completeness checks, grant awards, grant variations, progress reports, final reports, and grant closure processes.
• Coordinate research grant administration policies, guidelines as well as terms and conditions in accordance with funding agencies’ and Institute’s regulations, including compliance requirements.
• Provide consultation to research teams on grants processes, budgeting, and guidelines as and when required.
• Collaborate with team members in research support initiatives/events that are organised by the Research Support and Grants Management (RSGM) unit.
• Design/create grant-related infographics, posters, and/or collaterals for stakeholder communication and events where required.
• Maintain the RSGM unit’s documents, webpages, databases, records, and SOPs so that they are updated in a timely manner.
• Facilitate appointment/reappointment and contract renewals for research staff who will be hired via NIE faculty’s research grants.
• Liaison officer with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors if necessary.
• Organise and provide secretarial and logistical support for NIE internal research grants’ review panel meetings, including recording of minutes.
• Support the Associate/Assistant Deans in RSGM matters as and when needed.
• Any other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.

Requirements

• A Polytechnic diploma.

• Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in research development, grant management, or a related role in a university or research setting.

• Able to learn fast, multi-task, prioritise, and work within tight timelines.

• Possess good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills to work with faculty and staff across various departments.

• Strong team player.

• Strong numerical skills with an eye for detail with the ability to review and improve research proposals when necessary.

• Strong planning and organisational skills.

• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and willingness to learn or use new IT software, AI tools and applications as and when required.

• Able to monitor compliance in policies and uphold governance of policies.

• Experience in event management will be an added advantage.

• Experience in traditional and digital marketing (e.g., designing infographics, website/social media) will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Marketing and Sales department in maintaining and preparation of sales date/reports, management and business reports, as well as updating of price list, preparation of any letter or documents etc.
• Liaise/coordinate with our brand principals in matters related to marketing materials, shipments documentations, repairs, and any other related matters.

Other Information:

• Monthly basic salary range of $2,000 to $2,300

Your Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Intern to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on managing and resolving level 1 customer inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. The ideal candidate is familiar with Zendesk and Shopify or willing to learn.

• Manage customer queries about product information, order statuses, and basic troubleshooting through various channels (email, social media).

• Zendesk Ticket Management: Use Zendesk to create, track, and resolve customer tickets promptly and professionally.
