We are looking for an experienced clinical monitor to perform the study monitroing in ADVANcing Clinical Evidence in Infectious Diseases Network (ADVANCE ID). ADVANCE ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focussed on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

In the long term, the Network aims to support broader infectious disease studies by expanding geographically beyond its original starting point in South East Asia and collaborating with other networks around the world. It will function as an active network that involves patients in platform trials, allowing for rapid clinical research response in the event of an emerging infectious disease or pandemic threat.
The monitor should be able to supervise study sites and activities to ensure adherence to appropriate study protocols and applicable regulatory requirementterms of the study.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct qualification visits (QV), site initiation visits (SIV), monitoring visits (MV) and termination visits (TV) at assigned clinical sites and generate visit reports.
• Monitor the progress of clinical study sites participating in a clinical study, and to assure the protocol is followed and data is reported accurately.

• Coordinate and oversee the daily order fulfillment process across e-commerce platforms (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Shopify, etc.).

• Liaise with logistics partners and internal warehouse teams to track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and minimize fulfillment delays or errors.

• Serve as the first point of contact for both pre-purchase and post-purchase customer inquiries—responding to product questions, assisting with buying decisions, troubleshooting product issues, managing returns or exchanges, and processing warranty claims.

• Work collaboratively with a support team member who assists in pre-purchase communication and fulfillment preparation to ensure seamless operations.

• Monitor and maintain operational SOPs to deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

• Update product warranty records and maintain accurate documentation for repairs, replacements, and service cases

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support campaign execution, stock preparation, and peak-season operations.

• Provide operational insights and suggestions to improve fulfillment efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Generate basic reports using Excel on order volume, fulfillment performance, customer feedback, and issue resolution to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, logistics, customer service, or order fulfillment—preferably in e-commerce, lifestyle, or consumer electronics sectors.

• Familiarity with online sales platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and backend systems like Shopify, and inventory/fulfillment tools.

• Basic proficiency in Excel for order tracking, reporting, and simple data analysis.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and meet tight deadlines.

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the initiative to identify and resolve issues independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-first attitude and experience handling service escalations professionally—both before and after purchase.

• High attention to detail, especially in managing order data, customer information, and service documentation.

• Bonus: Experience working with consumer tech/lifestyle products or managing warranty/repair workflows.

Join THE WRITER'S PLACE as a Customer Service (Part-time) to assist with administrative and operational tasks in a dynamic tuition centre environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily administrative and operational tasks to maintain smooth centre functioning
• Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to liaise with diverse customers
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and solving problems as they arise
• 3 weekday + 1 Saturday
• Tues-Fri: 10am-730pm
• Saturday: 830am-530pm

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to work during tuition centre operation hours, including weekday evenings and Saturdays
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin for customer communication

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
