Job Summary
Responsible for strengthening and maintaining a consistent Quality Management System across affiliates in the Asian region, while coordinating with global, regional, and local stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and operational alignment.

Key Accountabilities
1)      Design and oversee risk-based GMP/GDP audit programs covering Asian LA (Sales sites and Manufacturing sites) 

2)      Review and approve local SOPs to ensure alignment with PIC/S GMP and Global SOPs. 

3)      Design and deliver regional QA training programs (including not only QA-related skill development but also career development program such as organizational management and mindset-building skills) and evaluate training effectiveness for Asian LA (Sales sites and Manufacturing sites). 

4)      Establishment and monitoring of common quality related KPIs for Asian LA (Sales sites and Manufacturing sites), and lead continuous improvement activities (e.g. Leading Asian Management Review Meeting) utilizing these KPIs.

5)      Oversee introduction and operation of GMP-related computerized systems owned by Global Quality for Asian LA (Sales sites and Manufacturing sites)

6)      Identification of QA related challenges and indication of solutions through establishment and operation of regular/ad-hoc communication with QA members in Asian LA (Sales Sites and Manufacturing Sites)

7)      Ensure effective end-to-end change management across manufacturing, regulatory, and supply chain functions. 

8)      Lead quality issue management, including deviations, complaints, supply impact assessment, and recall risk escalation. 

9)      Operation of the RHQ organization, including setting and managing team policies and objectives; securing and developing resources required for business execution; establishing opportunities for communication with stakeholders; planning and implementing operational improvements; and maintaining and improving the workplace environment.

Qualifications / Required

• Master’s degree in pharmacy, physics, or chemistry. Pharmacist license is preferred.
• Extensive experience in GMP/GDP audits, including CAPA review and effectiveness evaluation. 
• Strong understanding of PIC/S GMP, ICH Q7, ICH Q9, and ICH Q10 and QA operation experience (more than 15 years)
• Experience as a QA lead during regulatory inspections. 
• Ability to design risk-based audit and quality KPI frameworks. 
• Proven capability in SOP harmonization and document control using globalized computerized systems. 
• Experience in QA training design, auditor development, and training effectiveness evaluation (e.g., Kirkpatrick model). 
• Strong English/Japanese communication skills for meetings, documentation, and executive reporting.

SUMMARY:

The Training and Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring the company maintains and adheres to vehicle engineering maintenance policies, procedures & standards and effectively monitors adherence through regular audits to ensure compliance as well as providing an engineering training service to the Singapore engineering function and assisting in the specification of new vehicles and components, working with the manufacturers to ensure the correct product is delivered on time, to specification and is fit for purpose. The role requires close liaison with staff members at all levels across the business and with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) approved assessors and auditors.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

• Support the business, particularly the Engineering Director, with engineering compliance, Health and Safety and vehicle maintenance audit requirements;
• Coordinate an on-going schedule of internal engineering maintenance audits centred on monitoring compliance with LTA requirements;
• Provide the senior executive with regular updates on engineering maintenance audit reports, and if issues exist adopt a supportive and coaching approach to ensure that issues are rectified and to prevent recurrence;
• Perform follow-up audits to ensure audit recommendations have been implemented;
• Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
• Ensure vehicle inspection and repair processes meet international and national standards;

Specification and Parts Quality

• Understand the business requirements of Singapore specification buses;
• Liaise with vehicle manufacturers and suppliers on matters related to reliability and quality; and
• Work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure that buses and their component parts are performing to specification at acceptable cost.

Quality Management Standards

• Have a working knowledge of quality management standards;
• Undertake audits at Tower Transit Singapore;
• Follow up on non-conformance and assist in providing compliance solutions; and
• Liaise with external qualification bodies and assist as necessary in their audits.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of engineering audit experience in an automotive industry or a Diploma with at least 5 years experience.

• To ensure all precast concrete products are manufactured in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, statutory requirements, client requirements, and company quality standards. The QA/QC Engineer shall oversee quality control activities from incoming materials, production processes, product inspections, testing, documentation, and final product release.

Requirements (Qualification & Experience):

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, or related discipline.

• Knowledge of precast concrete production processes.
• Familiarity with HDB, BCA, and Singapore construction requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 documentation, including Quality Manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records, to ensure system compliance and management review readiness.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal and external audits to ensure organizational readiness for third-party certification, management reviews, and customer audits.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support and participate in customer and supplier audits to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Review audit findings, develop corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Generate and review supplier quality performance reports, work closely with suppliers to resolve non-conformances, and promote continuous improvement.
• Issue, monitor, and follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), ensuring effectiveness and timely closure.
• Support qualification and onboarding of new suppliers to maintain a robust pipeline aligned with production requirements.
• Manage calibration schedules and preventive maintenance programs for equipment to ensure operational reliability and compliance.
• Address quality issues arising from production and customer feedback by working closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and resolve customer complaints with proper documentation.
• Ensure timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), non-conformance reports, and customer complaints, and publish quality performance reports.
• Lead Material Review Board (MRB) meetings with cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.
• Supervise and lead QC inspectors to ensure parts inspection compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in quality or manufacturing environments, with exposure to audits and documentation.
• Basic understanding of supplier management and quality coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Quality System, ISO & Audit

• Act as Management Representative (MR) forISO 9001 certification.
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate internal quality audits and follow upcorrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatoryobligations.
• Maintain, review, and control all quality system documentation, procedures,and records.

Quality Reporting & Data Analysis (Core Focus)

Customer & Supplier Quality Management

• Ensure timely corrective actions, closure, and regular status updates.
• Escalate scrap and major quality issues to the Quality Manager immediately.

Calibration & Measurement Control

• Manage calibration of measuringinstruments, equipment, and tools to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Maintain calibration schedules and records and ensure timely calibration.
• Coordinate with external calibration service providers when required.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Support

• Identify quality risks and process gapsand implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support continual improvement initiatives and business continuity planning.
• Research and review technical and quality-related data for internal andcustomer needs.
• Track work schedules to meet reporting, audit, and submission deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Higher Nitec or higher in Precision Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
• Experience acting as Management Representative (MR) is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience in quality reporting, documentation control, and auditmanagement.
• Familiar with FA, NPI, CMM inspection, and manufacturing quality systems.

As a QA Executive for Amber, you will play a key role in ensuring the overall quality and performance of the product NextGen Management Systems as well as client websites/applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and reliable platform for our users. You will ensure that the platform meets high standards of functionality, usability, and security, while continuously striving to enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Execution:Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
  Perform manual and automated testing to identify and troubleshoot software defects, ensuring the product meets all quality standards.
  
• Bug Tracking & Reporting:Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
