We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our agile, product-aligned engineering teams. This is a senior individual contributor role with clear expectations around technical ownership, engineering leadership, and delivery at scale.

You’ll be front-end focused, playing a key role in shaping the customer experience across our MACH-based digital platform (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-Native, Headless), which powers 70+ websites and mobile applications across multiple Frasers Group brands. The Role

The RPU Team owns the real-time compute fabric that sits between intelligence and motion. As a Senior RPU / Firmware Engineer, you will architect and implement the low-level software that drives Asimov's actuators, sensors, and onboard processors. This is a 0-to-1 role: there is no existing stack to inherit. You will make foundational architecture decisions, define the OS-level environment, and build from the ground up. You will work at the boundary of hardware and software, where microseconds matter and correctness is non-negotiable.

What You'll Do

• Architect and build the firmware stack for the humanoid robot from scratch, including OS selection, toolchain setup, and board support package development
• Design and implement firmware for real-time processing units across thehumanoid robot's hardware platform
• Build and maintain embedded Linux environments for onboard compute, including BSP bring-up, device tree configuration, kernel driver development, and userspace/kernel interfaces

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of firmware or embedded systems engineering experience in production hardware

• Strong hands-on experience with verification methodologies such as UVM, SystemVerilog, or other simulation-based verification tools.
• Knowledge of high-speed serial protocols such as UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR, or custom protocols.
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting signal integrity issues, jitter, BER, and eye diagrams.
• Solid understanding of SerDes architectures, link training, and equalization.
• Strong debugging skills, with the ability to work across multiple domains (timing, protocol, performance).
• Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDL) like VHDL or Verilog.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with DDR protocol (e.g., DDR3, DDR4, DDR5) for memory interface verification.
• Understanding of UCIe protocol and its role in chiplet-to-chiplet communication.
• Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages for automation.
• Exposure to high-speed memory interface design and verification, including DDR controller IP verification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple verification tasks.

YOUR ROLE 

• Take full ownership of advanced deposition systems like Novellus Altus and Centura CVD WXZ
• Improve equipment uptime, reliability and throughput
• Diagnose and resolve fault across vacuum, RF, gas delivery and temperature control
• Identify root cause using SPC charts and fault analysis
• Work closely with process engineers in film deposition quality, thickness uniformity and defect reduction
• Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
• Drive projects to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of  5 years  experience as an Equipment Engineer in PVD module
• Strong understanding of Chemical Vapor Deposition WXZ, WWEB process, Vacuum systems and pumps
• Experience working in Novellus Altus, Centura tools
