The job role

This role is full time permanent position managerial role within the Finance Department.

The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions within the Finance Department. Main responsibilities will be to manage full set of accounts and preparation of financial and management reporting.

Key duties:

*Production of month end management accounts including P&L,balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.

*Management of accruals,prepayments,depreciation and petty cash month journals.

*Reconciliation of monthly key ledger balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.

*Maintain accounting records and database.

Candidate Profile and attributes

We are looking for candidates who would have a professional qualification ACCA or CIMA. Candidates with bachelor degree in Accounting will be duly considered.

The Contracts & Compliance (C&C) Assistant Manager is responsible for Contracts Review, Negotiation, and Compliance matters in the Research Division at NCCS.

1. Oversee and Manage C&C unit

Job Description

The Manager, Risk & Compliance is a new role at Hafnia, to be based in Singapore or Copenhagen and part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance pillar within the Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG team. The team works closely with Hafnia's Leadership Group across three pillars to enable strategic execution, safeguard the organization through robust governance and risk oversight, and embed sustainability across the business.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. During an initial transition period, the role will report directly to the Head of Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG.

This position will play a critical role in operating Hafnia's risk management framework and Corporate Compliance Program, driving compliance efforts and managing enterprise risks. It involves guiding departments and maintaining oversight on compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-trust, anti-money laundering, GDPR, and business ethics. A key focus is building a strong culture of integrity and adherence to regulatory and risk standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Risk management framework

• Operationalize and continuously improve Hafnia's enterprise risk management framework
• Conduct risk assessments and risk reviews with business owners across functions
• Maintain Hafnia's risk register and relevant documentation

Regulatory compliance and governance for corporate office

Corporate ethics and integrity

• Champion a culture of compliance and ethical decision-making across the organization

• Develop compliance training programs and conduct mandatory training and awareness sessions, partnering with the Executive Projects team on rollout and change management
• Manage our whistleblower program and protection mechanisms
• Advise on internal investigations and corrective actions in case of violations

Reporting and auditor coordination

• Manage internal and external audit inquiries relating to Enterprise Risk Management and compliance activities
• Maintain documentation related to compliance and enterprise risk management
• Ensure timely reporting and resolution to inquiries or audits
• Report top risks to leadership and the Audit Committee on a regular cycle

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work with the Executive Projects team on policy implementation and change management initiatives
• Coordinate with the ESG team on governance frameworks, ESG risk integration and assurance alignment
• Work across Legal, HSEQ, Internal Audit and Commercial functions on shared risk and compliance topics

Crisis management and incident response

• Develop and implement crisis response strategies for compliance and risk-related incidents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in shipping, compliance and/or risk management, preferably within an in-house team and in a global context. Legal experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and industry/maritime best practices
• Clear grasp and understanding of key global anti-bribery, anti-trust, GDPR and trade sanctions frameworks

• Maintain and update corporate records, registers, and compliance trackers
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, external advisors, auditors, and company secretaries
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise management on compliance requirements
• Support board meetings, including preparation of resolutions and minutes where required
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and internal policies across jurisdictions

Requirements:

• Degree in Commerce (or equivalent qualification)
• Qualified Company Secretary / Inter Company Secretary certification is mandatory
• 4–5 years of experience handling corporate compliance matters
• Strong knowledge of corporate laws and regulatory frameworks in Singapore (knowledge of Dubai regulations is an advantage)
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and documentation skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities

Job Description

• The registered data protection officer for Singapore

• Responsible for developing & maintaining APAC country specific compliance policy and process documents, training materials, providing help and guidance and awareness to APAC based employees.

• Ensuring that all data protection/security/ HSE issues from audits or risks raised are recorded, with ownership, and tracking remediation tasks to closure/mitigation/acceptance of risks.

• Management of the annual risk assessment program covering information security, data protection, health & safety, environment, and social governance

• Initiate yearly compliance activities, eg. BCP exercise, call tree test, updating of various operations / compliance documentations, vendor due diligence exercise

• Creation and maintenance of the Legal Risk Register (APAC)

• Annual site audits and management of any remediation plans (H&S/Fire/Infosec/Data Protection/ESG)

• Gathering of carbon emission data in support of global ESG reporting requirements

• Attendance at the monthly country and compliance circle meetings

• Responding to client information security assessments. Full completion and response to all Client questionnaires, including existing clients and new business opportunities.

• Incident investigation and reporting pertaining to data and HSE

• Development of the Quality Management System in support of attaining certification to ISO9001

• Administrative tasks including but not limited to: Client sales bid compliance assistance, contract reviews (Data protection terms), uploading documents to client portals

• Reviewing, updating and development of compliance policies and procedures

Job Requirements: Min Degree in finance/accountancy w min 3 yrs of relevant information security controls (ISO Lead Auditor/Lead Implementation certifications) experience
