We are seeking a highly-qualified Hardware Researcher to join our team launching, maintaining, developing, and operating an on-premises Helios quantum computer at a customer site. Helios is our next-generation quantum computer with 98 physical qubits and error rates <10-3. This will be our second Hardware-as-a-Service offering following our installation of a quantum computer at RIKEN’s Wako, Japan campus. The ideal candidate will have a broad and deep understanding of quantum computing, atomic physics, and/or technical operations and experience operating a quantum computer or similarly complex system or apparatus as part of a small team with global support. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Launch, maintain, develop, and operate the on-premises Helios quantum computer as part of a small team 
• Oversight and responsibility for specific subsystems, e.g. laser, and functional capabilities, e.g. ion transport 
• Conceptualize and execute operation and development plans 
• Remotely operate and maintain cloud-based H-series quantum computers as a part of a global team 
• Mentor and train junior team members in technical and operational matters 
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate technical topics in English 
• Ability to travel abroad for training or other business needs 

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Ph.D. minimum required
• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience (M.S. or Ph.D. inclusive)

To support and help drive this growth we are seeking an experienced Senior Support Services Analyst. This positions requires experienced and technically capable IT professional responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on support across a range of endpoint platforms and services. Positioned as a senior member of the support team, you will focus on resolving more complex technical issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of support operations, and driving consistency in service delivery. As the sole point of contact representing IT for our Singapore operations, you will collaborate closely with the wider International Support Services, Engineering and Application teams supporting operationally, managing stakeholders and leading on local projects.

The Senior Support Service Analyst brings depth in troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, has strong experience with enterprise tools such as Intune, JAMF, and ServiceNow, and can work independently to resolve escalated issues or contribute to project-based work as a subject matter expert. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence, supporting core IT processes, and ensuring a consistent user experience across a hybrid workforce

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary on-site IT point of contact for the Singapore office, ensuring day-to-day operational continuity across all local IT services and acting as the liaison between global teams and on-site stakeholders.
• Oversee basic networking and infrastructure needs, including monitoring network connectivity, supporting Wi-Fi and LAN troubleshooting, assisting with switch/port patching, and coordinating with Network Engineering for escalations or planned changes.
• Act as the local lead for site-based IT projects, supporting deployments, hardware refreshes, network uplifts, and workspace technology improvements from planning through execution.
• Deliver advanced technical support across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, resolving complex incidents and service requests that go beyond standard first-line scope.

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, with growing responsibilities and exposure to enterprise level environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, or a related equivalent field.
• Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, Jamf and ServiceNow.

We are seeking a Lead Applications Engineer to serve as a technical ambassador for Quantinuum’s quantum computing platforms within the Asian region. This is a highly technical, customer‑ and developer‑facing role focused on educating, onboarding, and enabling quantum researchers, while helping grow and strengthen the regional quantum ecosystem.

You will write deep‑dive technical knowledge articles, run onboarding sessions for new and existing users, introduce customers to Quantinuum’s software stack and hardware capabilities, and work closely with partners, researchers, and internal teams to ensure user success. Through direct engagement with users and partners, you will help convert prospective users into long‑term Quantinuum customers and advocates.

This role combines technical depth, communication, ecosystem building, and hands‑on user support, offering a unique opportunity to influence how researchers worldwide adopt and use quantum computing technologies.

• Hands‑on experience using Python for scientific or technical computing
• Experience working with quantum developer frameworks (e.g., SDKs, simulators, or quantum programming libraries)
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both expert and non‑expert audiences

We are seeking Research Scientists for our quantum research team in Singapore  

The Quantinuum office in Singapore is a hub for scientific discovery and cutting-edge research that will inspire quantum solutions to the world’s most complex problems in fields including for example computational biology, finance, chemistry, and optimization. Working in close partnership with Singapore’s National Quantum Office (NQO), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), National University of Singapore (NUS), Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT),and National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC), the center will cater to fostering Singapore’s growing quantum computing ecosystem, offering a platform to co-develop use cases and quantum algorithms for implementation on local quantum computing hardware. 

Our team members regularly publish scientific papers and present their results at leading conferences. In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment and contribute to advancing our state-of-the-art quantum computing stack. You will also engage with our academic and industry partners. 

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct research on new quantum algorithms for areas including biology, finance, chemistry, and optimization models 
• Develop and implement novel quantum algorithms integrated with early fault-tolerant protocols and error correction or detection primitives 
• Contribute to end-to-end resource estimation of quantum algorithms under realistic hardware constraints 
• Communicate scientific results internally across teams and externally through publications and conference presentations 
• Engage with clients on projects in the above mentioned areas
