Job Summary

You will apply your expertise in structural steel erection to safely and efficiently assemble steel structures, adapting to extended hours and occasional weekend or public holiday work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Erect structural steel components accurately and safely following project specifications
• Adapt work schedule to include after regular hours and Sunday or public holiday shifts when required

Job Summary

You will prepare and paint surfaces by reading blueprints, making on-site preparations, mixing paints, and applying finishes while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and instructions to assess the type and amount of painting work required
• Examine surfaces to determine necessary preparation and painting methods
• Build scaffolding and cover fixtures to prepare the site for painting
• Prepare walls and surfaces by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint to ensure proper adhesion
• Fill cracks and holes using appropriate materials such as plaster to create smooth surfaces
• Mix paint and materials to achieve the correct color and texture for each job
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes accurately using various tools according to instructions
• Calculate painting costs and negotiate prices with clients or supervisors
• Follow all health and safety precautions to maintain a safe work environment
