Job Requirements

We are looking for a Project Engineer to be responsible for project delivery and work closely with commissioning team in the site operations and responsible for supporting the project progression, in ensuring the expectations, works, procedures and deadlines are met.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Managers in ensuring the successful implementation of project.
• Undertake all testing & commissioning activities from factory tests to integrated systems tests in the final stage of projects.
• Assist Managers to monitor site progress and site meeting coordination.
• Attend site meetings and address on any technical queries from clients.
• Working with vendors.
• Witness contractor’s testing and commissioning results and confirm compliance
• Handle project administration and documentation works

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Networking / Electrical / Project Engineering or related discipline in engineering.
• At least 3 years relevant working experience in project management, electrical services coordination and testing & commissioning systems.
• Experience in large scale projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of PC applications such as MS Office, MS Project.
• Good computer network knowledge.
• Knowledge on access control systems and CCTV systems experience highly desirable.

Job Descriptions:
• Understand functional requirements, able to apply business and functional knowledge to design comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies.

• Validate that solutions align with the organization’s continuous improvement strategies and contribute to operational efficiency

• Develop test scripts and execute test throughout the application lifecycle. Able to formulate test scenarios and test plans, conduct user acceptance testing, update test results with proper documentation and prepare UAT status scorecard to stakeholders

• Log defects and issues discovered during testing, including clear description, steps to reproduce and potential impacts on business process.

• Maintain awareness of technical progress and risk for assigned projects, confer with technical personnel to resolve issues and drive corrective actions. Track and monitor defects with Tech, and Ops, if required.

• Communicate test results and potential impacts to business analyst and business stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned on the findings and recommendations.

• Prepare user guide and conducts training to operational users on any new deployment.

• Ensuring risk and compliance standards are followed for every changes.

Job requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or Business Information Systems
• Preferably with 2 years of working experience in business analysis and user acceptance testing.
• Candidates with working experience in Insurance operations and processing can be considered.
• Business Analysis skill in delivery business requirement process
• Project management skill in executing and managing user acceptance testing and planning.
• Savvy in the application of latest technology
• Proactive, resourceful, innovative/creative/critical thinkers and able to engage stakeholders from different business domains.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills

Job scope :

• Support end-to-end project management for IT systems — from budget request and tender award to implementation, maintenance, and support.

• Drive system development efforts including user and vendor management, deployment coordination (that may include weekend support), and stakeholder engagement.

• Manage and ensure compliance with government governance and audit requirements, assessment of audit/security risks.

• Manage and support systems during the warranty and maintenance phases to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and end-user satisfaction.

• Provide timely incident and case management support, including troubleshooting, user support management, and coordination with relevant parties.

• Handle full spectrum of procurement activities, including papers for approval of requirements, technical specifications, reviewing vendor proposals, and ensuring proper contract execution.

• Handle project-related documentation for approval processes, including project updates to management.

• Ensure systems are delivered in line with operational needs, within scope, budget, and timeline.

• Coordinate meetings, track project progress and carry out admin duties including minute-taking, agenda collation, and document circulation.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Certification in project management and/or technical domain is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of government compliance and procurement processes.

• Preferably over 5 years of relevant working experience in IT project and operations management.

Skills and Experience

• Contract management and vendor coordination

• Stakeholder management across internal teams and external partners

• System operations support, including infrastructure integration and service continuity

• Writing technical documentation such as requirement specs, system design documents, test plans and reports

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve incidents with minimal operational disruption.

Technical

• Managing both on-premises and cloud systems preferred

• Cloud technology and application modernisation

• Containers and orchestration platforms (advantageous)

• Process and data integration and exchange
