The Role

High-visibility role supporting the firm's accounting, tax compliance, regulatory reporting and compliance, and fund operations across Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Maintain the books and records of the management company and related operating entities across Singapore, the UK and the US in Xero, with management reporting and analysis built in Fathom.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, consolidated reporting packs and variance analysis for the Financial Controller, COO, CEO and Board.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany balances, expense allocations and payroll coordination across entities.

Tax Compliance

Regulatory Reporting

• Prepare and submit regulatory filings to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) — including Form 1, returns under the SFA and AML/CFT submissions — and equivalent reporting in the UK (FCA) and the US (SEC / state regulators), supported by external counsel and compliance advisors as needed.
• Track regulatory deadlines, capital adequacy and risk-based capital requirements; flag changes in the regulatory landscape that affect the firm.

Fund Operations

• Act as primary day-to-day liaison with third-party fund administrators on NAV production, capital activity (capital calls, distributions, transfers), investor reporting and year-end audits for the firm's two funds strategies
• Review NAV packs, fee calculations (management and performance fees, carried interest waterfalls), expense allocations and investor capital account statements before release.
• Support investment transactions from a finance and operations perspective — funding, drawdowns, FX and treasury — and post-investment monitoring of portfolio holdings.

Role Purpose

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of test services by Bank appointed vendors in the conduct of testing
• Works with the testing service providers and other stakeholders to review, provide feedback and sign off on the test strategy, test plans and other test service providers’ artefacts for the testing service delivery
• Coordinates with the Test Governance team to ensure adoption of testing methods, standards and tools, and to coordinate any health checks or audits
• Ensures that any changes to the scope of services are communicated to the respective test service providers and the impact is factored in to the plan
• Engages with various stakeholders (including but not limited to, application, security, infrastructure, business), testing service providers to ensure testing services meet the banks’ objectives and demand
• Act as the first point of escalation for any issues raised by stakeholders, testing service providers
• Quantify, manage, track and report test related statuses, SLA and KPIs, and ensure that defined testing transformation SLA and KPI targets are met for the portfolio accountable
• Drive and collaborate with all stakeholders and test service providers to plan all testing related deliveries for the portfolio accountable
• Participate and contribute in forums, as required, to drive testing transformation and innovation
• Works closely with the Test Engineering Lead to provide inputs around domain specific test engineering requirements and ensure that they are met
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the Vendor Test Managers/Test Leads for the respective domains

Engages stakeholdercommunities to get their feedback on testing service delivery and identifyimprovement opportunities to be fed back to the Test CoE team

• The AML Head is responsible for the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Function of the Branch in Singapore.

Job Description

• Ensure that the Singapore Branch effectively complies with the statutory provisions, regulatory requirements, and / or guidelines and codes of conduct applicable to Anti-Money Laundering in Singapore
• Act as the focal point within the Branch for the oversight of all activities in relation to the prevention and detection of money laundering (ML) and terrorist financing (TF) and providing support and guidance to the senior management to ensure that ML/TF risks of the Branch is adequately understood and managed
• Promote a clear and open communication process within the branch and with Head Office to educate and address anti-money laundering compliance matters; and align its compliance activities, manuals and guidelines with Head Office Compliance

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job, preferably in Business Management
• With at least 5-10 years’ experience in compliance risk management or related fields, preferably with experience in the banking or in any financial institution
