Responsibilities

• Manage daily vessel operations to ensure compliance with maritime laws and regulations
• Oversee crew management to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards
• Monitor and enforce safety management protocols on vessels to minimize risks
• Control and track operational budgets and costs to optimize financial performance
• Prepare accurate quotations and invoices for clients to support business transactions
• Apply problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve operational challenges effectively
• Utilize knowledge of vessel operations and safety management to enhance operational outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Experience building and scaling high-availability software systems
• Minimum 10 years of full-stack experience
• Experience with DevOps will be an advantage
• Proficiency in modern full-stack technologies — ideally React/Next.js and Java/TypeScript/Go
• Strong technical leadership and the soft skills that build trust and alignment
• Passion for engineering excellence and thoughtful software craftsmanship
• Motivation to create public impact through technology
• Proven ability to guide teams toward shared goals and outcomes
• Experience leading/mentoring developers and supporting their growth
