The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for leading the development, management, and assurance of integrated project schedules across all phases of delivery. • Ensure Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen work harmoniously to provide seamless support to Utracon’s Clients.
• Prepare weekly and/or monthly progress reports to be submitted to the Department Head.
• Study shop drawings from the Design Division and/or from the clients.
• Ensure progress claims are submitted on time and keep track of the status of payments from clients.
• Initiate countermeasures against recalcitrant clients to protect the Company from bad debt/non-payment.
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s IMS process and procedures.
• Ensure OSH risk assessments and EMS impact & aspect register are conducted and implemented in company operations.

Pre-requisites:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.

Additional job description

You will be working on backend systems and platform integration tasks. This will include weighing the appropriate infrastructure pieces to use and integrating against them as well as evolving these choices rapidly overtime. You will also be responsible for directly contributing features to these core services.

In this role, you will support multiple client teams building agents, evaluations, and frontend features, as well as develop your own agents. You will also participate in client development driven by AI development tools to deliver a general-purpose conversational assistant in the Google Pay app.  

Finally, you can accelerate the rest of the team through the creation of useful agents and skills.

• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Execute and own the technical roadmap.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 2 years of experience building tools that improve developer velocity, code quality and code health (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).
• 2  years of experience building infrastructure for Agentic AI.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
