The Department of Architecture in the College of Design and Engineering is ranked among the top 10 in the world, and Asia’s best in Architecture/Built Environment, by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings (2025). It offers the professionally accredited Master of Architecture programme as well as a range of graduate and undergraduate programmes in related fields such as urban planning/design, landscape architecture and conservation. The Department of Architecture's Research by Design (RxD) program is seeking a highly qualified, interdisciplinary, and inspirational candidate for the position of Assistant Professor in Architectural Design (Tenure Track). We are looking for an individual with expertise in creative design research – research through design – who is committed to addressing pressing global challenges such as decarbonization, social justice, and inclusive futures. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on tropical geographies, particularly Southeast Asia and/or other equatorial climates, integrating these contexts into innovative design solutions for warming and fractured world futures. A PhD or a Master's degree is a prerequisite for this position.

We seek candidates whose research is deeply embedded in creative design practice and demonstrated through a robust portfolio of creative practice outputs, validated through peer-reviewed publications and societal engagement. Candidates should have a proven ability to lead with forward-thinking, anticipatory design ideas that influence both the profession and society. We are especially interested in candidates who are leaders in Research by Design methods and who leverage creative practice to envision and manifest a more just world through traditional and nontraditional research outputs. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. This position will be responsible for creating visual content that enhances the hotel’s brand image, promotes our services, and ensures a cohesive aesthetic across all guest touchpoints.

• Create high-quality designs for print and digital collateral, including brochures, flyers, menus, room directories, banners, and advertisements.
• Design engaging visuals for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), the hotel website, and email newsletters.
•  Ensure all designs adhere to the hotel’s brand guidelines (logo usage, color palette, typography) to maintain a consistent identity.
• Retouch and edit photos of rooms, food, events, and amenities for marketing use.
•  Assist different departments (e.g., Sales, Events, and F&B) with design needs for internal communications, signage, and promotional materials.
• Organize and maintain the hotel’s digital asset library (photos, logos, fonts).

We're looking for a hands-on Creative Producer to join our dedicated NPI production team. You'll own the full marketing asset production cycle - from concepting and planning through to final delivery - while also bringing a strong design eye to branded visual content. This is a great fit for someone who is equally comfortable on set and in Adobe Creative Suite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interpret creative briefs and lead internal brainstorming sessions to shape compelling visual concepts, presenting storyboards, mood-boards, and supporting design assets to stakeholders for alignment and buy-in. 
• Manage the full pre-production approval process across internal teams, before briefing external vendors and aligning on all production logistics including locations, talent, product samples, costings, and ensuring compliance with company policy on rights, licenses, and release documentation. 
• Manage video and photo shoots, ensuring storyboard frames, talent performance, scene composition, product representation, and location treatments are executed in full accordance with the approved creative and brand guidelines. 
• Review vendor-submitted edits with the internal team, ensuring all post-production elements — animation, titles, supers, and graphic elements — are compliant with brand guidelines. 
• Own the end-to-end approval process, managing all feedback loops and revision rounds with the vendor until sign-off is obtained, before overseeing final asset delivery in the correct formats and maintaining organized libraries of all production files. 

Job Summary
The Cost Manager is responsible for the cost and commercial management of commercial office fit‑out projects, covering both Interior Design (ID) and Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) works. The role supports projects from early design through construction and close‑out, ensuring delivery within approved budgets, programme requirements, and quality standards.

This role is ideal for a cost professional experienced in tenant fit‑outs, corporate workplaces, refurbishments, and restacking works, working closely with designers, project managers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Planning & Budget Management

• Prepare initial cost estimates, detailed cost plans, and budgets for office fit‑out projects at all design stages.
• Provide cost advice during design development, including space planning, materials selection, finishes, and construction methods.
• Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client budgets and commercial objectives.

Interior Design (ID) Cost Management – Office Fit‑Out

• Manage cost planning and control for office interior works, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, joinery, pantry fit‑outs, meeting rooms, and workplace amenities.
• Manage costing for FF&E, loose furniture, audiovisual elements, and specialist office requirements.
• Advise on cost implications of design changes, upgrades, and fast‑track delivery strategies common to office fit‑out projects.

CSA Cost Management – Fit‑Out & Refurbishment

• Prepare and manage cost estimates for fit‑out related CSA works, including minor structural works, raised floors, architectural modifications, façade interfaces, and refurbishment scope.
• Coordinate CSA and ID costs to ensure clear scope boundaries and avoid gaps or overlaps with building base‑build works.
• Support constructability reviews and value engineering for refurbishment and occupied‑building environments.

Tendering & Procurement

• Prepare tender documentation for office fit‑out trade packages, including ID and CSA works.
• Manage tender processes including tender queries, analysis, evaluation reports, and commercial recommendations.
• Advise on procurement strategies suitable for fast‑paced commercial office fit‑out projects.

Post‑Contract, Change & Commercial Management

• Manage post‑contract cost control, including progress valuations, variations, and change orders.
• Assess contractor claims and certify interim payments accurately and timely.
• Support final account settlement and commercial close‑out.

Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination

• Prepare regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial summaries for clients and project teams.
• Attend design, coordination, and site meetings to provide cost and commercial input.
• Work closely with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Engineers, and Contractors to align design, delivery, and budget objectives.

Governance & Knowledge Management

• Ensure compliance with agreed cost management processes and governance requirements.
• Capture project cost data, lessons learned, and best practices for continuous improvement across office fit‑out projects.
