Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Secretarial professional to independently manage a client portfolio and oversee corporate secretarial and accounting compliance matters within a growing corporate services firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate secretarial duties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for a diverse client portfolio
• Execute accounting compliance tasks accurately to support client financial reporting and statutory obligations
• Utilize ACRA BizFile and IRAS myTax Portal effectively to file and maintain corporate documents and tax submissions
• Communicate fluently in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Prioritize and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality deliverables
• Apply attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility to uphold compliance standards and client satisfaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate experience working in a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) or accounting firm environment
• Use QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software to support accounting and bookkeeping functions
• Handle GST, audit, or group structure cases to support complex client requirements
• Lead or supervise teams to enhance operational efficiency and staff development

Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities :

Requirements:

·       Degree or Diploma certificates in related professional qualification

Job description:

• Lead and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring quality and compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare audit reports and present findings to audit managers and partners for review.
• Plan, organize, manage audit fieldwork, including allocating tasks to junior staff and providing on-the-job training and supervision.
• Review working papers, financial statements, and audit findings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS), IFRS, US GAAP or other relevant reporting frameworks.
• Identify key audit issues and propose practical solutions or recommendations to address client concerns.
• Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary audit information, clarify accounting issues, and resolve audit-related queries. Prepare comprehensive audit reports and presentations, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to clients.
• Assist in supervising and coaching junior team members, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and uphold the firm’s standards of service and integrity.
• Stay up to date with the latest accounting and auditing standards, regulations and best practices as well as regulatory developments relevant to the profession.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or relevant professional qualification.
• At least 2 - 3 years and above post qualification experience in external audit, possesses current technical knowledge aligned with professional audit standards and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements is essential.
• Leadership skills, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Program.
• Hardworking individual with a strong commitment to delivering high quality work and able to work independently.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and clients

• Roles & Responsibilities :

• Manage full set of accounts and oversee the entire range of manufacturing functions, preparing monthly audit schedules , management reporting and ensure timely month-end and year end financial closing.

• Oversee all financial operations, AR, AP & GL processes including monitor cash flows and projections.

• Oversee quarterly GST submission and timely tax filing to ensure compliance.

• Perform accounting for inventory management, including valuation methods, and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate tracking of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.

• Experience in system implementation and recommend process improvements.

• Experience in managing banking facilities , such as AR financing and performing trust receipt.

• Manage external audit processes, ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control policies.

• Lead and support the finance team junior staffs in executing day-to-day financial operations.

• Work closely and support cross-functional team coordination and alignment on finance processes.

• Review on employees' reimbursement claims
  

• Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy / finance or ACCA .

• Minimum 5 years' experience in maintaining full set of manufacturing accounting or strong knowledge of manufacturing processes

• Strong communication skills ; bilingual in English & Mandarin ( need to liaise with chinese-speaking counterparts )

• Proficient in MS office & ERP software ( MES, Yonyou, SAP or Oracle )

• A self starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.

• Familiar with Singapore accounting regulations and strong in accounting principles knowledge

• Significant hands-on experience using ERP and implementation experience preferred.

• Fast learner and consistently drive for process improvement.

• Possess can-do attitude and able to work in a dynamic start-up environment
