• Manage the day-to-day and clerical activity related to his/her categories.
• Work closely with the Global Category Manager and supports him/her to build with his/her guidance the sourcing strategy and to implement it.
• Understand the projects the New Products and Innovation Team are working on and integrate them into his/her strategy.

Cost improvement

• Leading the negotiations with suppliers.
• Maintain and track spends for the covered categories.
• Build and propose a budget/savings target which supports Galderma’s financial objectives, analyze the purchase price variances and provide his/her management with an accurate forecast.
• Have a three years visibility and Cost Improvement programs and find initiatives by:
• Promoting and supporting the implementation of a multi-sourcing approach, based on risk assessment and market analysis.
• Organizing tenders for every category on a regular basis.
• Making value-chain and cost breakdown analysis.
• Understand the feedstock and cost drivers of his/her categories and anticipate markets trends.

Sourcing and Vendor management

• Set-up and maintain the supply agreement for the CDMO part of his/her SRT.
• Participate actively to the categories sourcing strategy definition and implement it for his/her category/portfolio, in line with the Global Category Manager’s one.
• Implement the sourcing strategy process on his/her portfolio and all best practices in accordance with group recommendations.
• Be the escalation path within the SRT.
• Support new products (NPI, LCM) or projects launches.
• Deploy the ESG roadmap activities.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Procurement skills (negotiation, supplier assessment, sourcing strategy…)
• Fundamentals in Quality and Supply Chain
• Behavioral competences: stakeholders management, communication skills, customer service oriented.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Background in big budget management.
• Experience dealing directly with quality, finance and supply chain in the industry.

• Commissioning of Shipboard Machinery System / Electrical & Automation System and Equipment
• Leads, directs and supervise a team of engineers in preparation of commissioning of shipboard equipment's ensuring the entire responsibility for the completion on schedule in accordance to the protocols.
• Establish and continuous monitoring of commissioning based on master project schedule.
• Review of Internal Test records
• Review of Platform Acceptance Test protocols
• Update the status report on FAT, HAT & PAT in the progress meeting
• Manage resource planning and technical advice for the QA commissioning Team.
• Manage work safety, assigned jobs, risk assessment and productivity of the Commission Team and manage the commissioning job scope with supplier / OEM within budgeted Man Hours
• Prepares manpower organization to fulfill the commissioning schedule.
• Deploy and assign jobs and expectation to his engineers and supervisors
• Holds regular meetings with the team and other departments in the commissioning progress / issues affecting the test as well as meetings with the vendors to resolve any equipment related problems.
• Set productivity targets for his team, assess, identify and manage training needs for his team
• Plan department man power projections, and manage shortfall or excess resources.
• Manage departmental improvement and processes to improve quality of work.
• Manage E-Ops Team for Sea Trial and perform safety audits on departmental safety practices and employees.
