PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review of legal and commercial contracts and documentation and liaise with stakeholders for contract negotiations.
• Prepare agreements templates (both English and Mandarin).
• Provide corporate secretarial support, including preparing directors’ and shareholders’ minutes and resolutions for specific transactions, filing annual returns for Singapore companies, and monitoring the filing of corporate documentation for overseas entities.
• Conduct legal research in various jurisdictions and prepare advisory for stakeholders.
• Preparing inter-company agreements and monitor the due date for renewal.
• Translation works (English to Mandarin, Mandarin to English)
• Assist in registration and monitoring of intellectual property such as trademark and patent.
• Proof reading and formatting of legal documentations.
• Liaise and coordinate with external stakeholder including lawyers, auditors and consultants.
• Maintain proper records keeping, control and security of corporate and legal documentation and monitor and track deadline for contract, licences, intellectual property.
• Attend board meeting to record meeting minutes.
• Monitor legal and regulatory requirements and compliance with ISO standards.
• Assist in corporate exercise including but not limited to acquisition of property, merger and acquisition, amalgamation.
• Perform any ad hoc projects or tasks as may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Law, or an equivalent qualification, preferably with corporate secretarial qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience as an in-house counsel, with exposure to the logistics industry, corporate secretarial matters, and intellectual property matters.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Meticulous, proactive, willing to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work independently and perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for management of strategic account(s) as assigned by the department head.
• Main liaison party with Key Accounts Customers and to coordinate with cross-functional teams such as the warehouse implementation teams in order to plan, execute and deliver business solutions for the customers successfully.
• Ensure Key Accounts Customers are satisfied with the service/performance level of operations in each country and work closely with each Country’s warehouse operation to deliver agreed service levels, which ranges from warehouse inventory and stock management, order & delivery fulfilment and last mile services.
• Responsible for customer relations and quality management programme, including programme to achieve excellence in customer service.
• Build strong working relationship with the KA Customers and internal stakeholders.
• Responsible for market intelligence and business development activities to achieve growth in designated accounts through expansion of services and geography.
• Responsible for setting of performance measurement / matrix to measure the well-being of the designated account in terms of operations, bottom line and growth.
• Responsible to work closely with designated Key Accounts warehouse operation teams to enhance processes to reduce costs to enable YCH to be more competitive and continuous improvement.
• Prepare commercial and pricing analysis.
• Responsible for the maintenance, updating commercial contractual agreements.
• Be the champion in the renewal of Key Account contracts.
• Responsible for monthly reporting to management.
• Responsible for the profit and loss reporting for each account.
• Responsible for supporting strategic projects as assigned by management.
• Responsible to manage and run warehouse operations for e-commerce during mega campaigns forcustomers.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by top Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in the Logistics industry.
• Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
• In depth knowledge of 3PL Contract Logistics and related activities such Fulfilment, Transportation and Freight.
• Knowledge in Logistics business and its operating parameters.
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
• With strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels in and outside the organization.
• Competent in preparing business plans and feasibility studies.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

1. To prepare and submit permit / declarations to Government agencies for relevant shipment and ensure AWBs and permit declarations are processed accurately and promptly.

2. To check and ensure accuracy of documents necessary of bank negotiation of Letter of Credits, invoices, packing list, bills of lading and certificate of origin.

3. To monitor closely for any short landings or offloading of cargoes and to report to the superior immediately for such cases.

4. To follow through, monitor and track shipment arrival and delivery.

5. To coordinate for any survey of alleged damages to cargoes in the airport or custom.

6. Attend to operation to ensure cargo is delivered safely and promptly to the designated locations.

7. Liaise and follow up internally and with forwarders/carriers for shipment/delivery status / Singapore Chamber & Commerce.

8. Prepare billing advised for completed shipments.

9. To facilitate in house TRMS system for shipment processing.

10. To ensure all shipments are processed and closed promptly thru the TRMS to allow for billing by our Finance.

11. To ensure all KPIs are met in accordance with customer’s expectations.

12. To secure enough space from the airlines and ensure bookings are done promptly. Also to ensure block bookings are done for regular customers.

13. To effectively manage the staff resources (whether permanent or contracted) under his charge in the airport warehouse, including taking care of their discipline and proper execution of their respective duties.

14. To perform any other job-related duties as and when instructed by the superior.
