Our client is a charity organisation that offer community care services to the elderly in Singapore. They run Active Ageing Centres (AAC) and are currently seeking a Community Engagement Senior Executive for one of their AAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage engagement programmes and services.
• Evaluate and review effectiveness of, and areas of improvement in both programmes and services.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to for all programmes and services.
• Handle complex enquiries and referral from the community.
• Support the needs and well-being of the elders and their caregivers in the community through home visits, care planning, service referrals, activity recommendations, etc.
• Manage AAC membership including promotion, publicity, registration, and retention.
• Manage volunteers including recruitment, training, and deployment to support the AAC programmes and services.
• Collaborate with other community partners to develop and implement programmes and services for the elders in the community.
• Develop localised volunteer management strategies.
• Prepare relevant reports and claims to various internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to MOHs requirements for AAC Service Model.
• Manage AAC programme, service administration, operations, and logistics.
• Oversee AAC staff orientation and training.
• Ensure the environmental safety and hygiene of AAC areas at all times.
• Ensure that the AAC equipment is in good operational condition.
• Any other projects that are assigned by the manager.

Qualifications& Experience:

• Minimum Degree in relevant disciplines such as Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, etc.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a AAC/senior care centre/similar setting or have volunteered previously with elders.
• Proven track record in leading teams.
• Passionate about serving elders.
• Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Capable of working independently and under time constraints.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Our client is a charity organisation that offers community care and healthcare services to the elderly in Singapore. They have various branches islandwide and are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Art Therapist.

This role will play a vital part in enhancing the emotional and psychological well-being of their elderly clients through the creative use of art therapy by taking ownership to design and deliver meaningful art therapy programmes in addition to supporting the development of their staff capabilities in this specialised area.

As a key member of their multidisciplinary care team, you will collaborate closely with other allied health professionals to create holistic, person-centered interventions. This role also offers opportunities to contribute to research and innovation in art therapy practices to advance the organisation’s mission to improve the quality of lives for the elderly.   

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for suitability of art therapy services offered and make appropriate referrals
• Must be willing to travel around Singapore
• Create and conduct individual or group art therapy programmes/sessions for elders across centres, residences and home
• Conduct training for relevant staff/care givers to use and conduct appropriate art programs
• Maintain client records/case notes, in the form of artwork which the clients have drawn
• Collaborate with physiotherapists/occupational therapists/music therapists/Program Development Unit to create holistic programs for clients
• Attend case conferences to share ideas, expertise and good practice
• Maintain art therapy materials and propose best practices to hiring manager
• Explore potential areas of growth of art therapy into dementia, depression management
• Monitor competencies of trained staff to ensure efficacy of programmes
• Participate or contribute to quality improvement/research initiatives to measure the quality of programmes

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Art Therapy
• At least 5 Year(s) of relevant work experience in the related field is required for this position
