Job Summary

The Strategic Account Executive manages strategic accounts across enterprise, government, and academic sectors in finance, chemicals & materials, and pharmaceuticals. This role drives revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle, negotiating complex deals, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver quantum computing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts by building strong multi-level relationships to drive long-term revenue growth.
• Lead account plan execution by identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, planning and conducting customer engagements, and advancing deals through the sales pipeline.
• Own the full sales cycle from initial engagement to contract execution for quantum computing hardware and high-value research collaborations.
• Structure, negotiate, and close complex multi-party commercial agreements by aligning internal and external stakeholders and finalizing terms, scope, and timelines.
• Collaborate with marketing, legal, technical, product, and research teams to support deal progression and ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, develop strategic account plans, and report clearly on pipeline health, deal status, and closed revenue.
• Expand market opportunities within verticals by growing accounts into new use cases, business units, and research domains.
• Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and technical leaders by addressing customer pain points and innovation goals.
• Represent Quantinuum as a subject matter expert on quantum applications at industry events, panels, and working groups.

Required competencies and certifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise or scientific technology sales, focusing on complex solutions selling (hardware, SaaS, or scientific/technical platforms).
• Proven ability to own and manage the full sales cycle within finance, chemicals & materials, pharmaceuticals, or government sectors.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with government procurement processes, research institutions, academic funding models, and enterprise IT transformation projects.
• Existing relationships with government agencies, academia, global pharma R&D, financial services innovation groups, materials labs, or transport sectors.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and expanding strategic accounts in high-growth or emerging technology sectors.
• Ability to lead discovery, scope complex projects, and engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Expertise in working with or selling to R&D, CTO, and CIO personas.
• Solid understanding of quantum computing, cloud platforms, high-performance computing, or advanced research infrastructure.
• Experience with early-stage technology commercialization or emerging technologies such as quantum, AI/ML, or HPC.
• Background in physics, engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or a closely related technical field.

We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems, cryogenic equipment, and related infrastructure in support of Quantum computer operations in Singapore. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of facility utilities and support systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and facilities engineering, along with hands-on experience managing complex building systems in laboratory, semiconductor, or chemical manufacturing environments. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and capable of effectively navigating operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility System Operations, Maintenance & Project Support:
•    Monitor, operate, and maintain facility systems including HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, vacuum, gas distribution, cryogenics and plumbing systems.
•    Monitor facility performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to optimize reliability, capacity, and energy usage.
•    Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
•    Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical facility systems.
•    Manage and coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
•    Develop and maintain facility documentation including SOPs, and maintenance records.
•    Track and manage utility usage, sustainability initiatives, and cost-reduction efforts.
•    Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment and facility infrastructure.
•    Support local as well as global facilities upgrades, expansions, and capital projects including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
•    Manage spare parts, consumables, and critical inventory to ensure availability of materials for maintenance and operations, including coordination of procurement, receiving, inspection, and stock optimization.

•    Collaborate with HSE to ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations 
•    Support compliance with environmental obligations under NEA where applicable
•    Adhere to site security protocols, including export control access procedures and Technology Control Plan requirements.

Must Have:

We are seeking a highly-qualified Hardware Researcher to join our team launching, maintaining, developing, and operating an on-premises Helios quantum computer at a customer site. Helios is our next-generation quantum computer with 98 physical qubits and error rates <10-3. This will be our second Hardware-as-a-Service offering following our installation of a quantum computer at RIKEN’s Wako, Japan campus. The ideal candidate will have a broad and deep understanding of quantum computing, atomic physics, and/or technical operations and experience operating a quantum computer or similarly complex system or apparatus as part of a small team with global support. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Launch, maintain, develop, and operate the on-premises Helios quantum computer as part of a small team 
• Oversight and responsibility for specific subsystems, e.g. laser, and functional capabilities, e.g. ion transport 
• Conceptualize and execute operation and development plans 
• Remotely operate and maintain cloud-based H-series quantum computers as a part of a global team 
• Mentor and train junior team members in technical and operational matters 
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate technical topics in English 
• Ability to travel abroad for training or other business needs 

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Ph.D. minimum required
• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience (M.S. or Ph.D. inclusive)

This positions requires experienced and technically capable IT professional responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on support across a range of endpoint platforms and services. Positioned as a senior member of the support team, you will focus on resolving more complex technical issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of support operations, and driving consistency in service delivery. As the sole point of contact representing IT for our Singapore operations, you will collaborate closely with the wider International Support Services, Engineering and Application teams supporting operationally, managing stakeholders and leading on local projects.

The Senior Support Service Analyst brings depth in troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, has strong experience with enterprise tools such as Intune, JAMF, and ServiceNow, and can work independently to resolve escalated issues or contribute to project-based work as a subject matter expert. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence, supporting core IT processes, and ensuring a consistent user experience across a hybrid workforce

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary on-site IT point of contact for the Singapore office, ensuring day-to-day operational continuity across all local IT services and acting as the liaison between global teams and on-site stakeholders.
• Oversee basic networking and infrastructure needs, including monitoring network connectivity, supporting Wi-Fi and LAN troubleshooting, assisting with switch/port patching, and coordinating with Network Engineering for escalations or planned changes.
• Act as the local lead for site-based IT projects, supporting deployments, hardware refreshes, network uplifts, and workspace technology improvements from planning through execution.

Must Have:

• Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, Jamf and ServiceNow.
