Key Responsibilities
● Food & Beverage Preparation:
Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage from sandwiches and waffles to signature tea blends and coffee, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

● Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent, personalised service. Take and process orders accurately, handle cash and electronic payments, and proactively promote and upsell products to meet store targets.

● Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of the company's tea products, brewing methods, and promotions to effectively engage with customers, answer their questions, and make recommendations.

● Store Operations & Maintenance:
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including the tea bar counter, equipment, and customer-facing areas. Restock and replenish products and supplies regularly.

● Team Collaboration:
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to a positive and dynamic workplace culture.

● Health & Safety:
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A service-driven, outgoing and positive attitude with a passion or appreciation for tea
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Prior experience in a food and beverage (F&B) or retail setting is preferred. Barista or bubble tea experience is a plus.

The 1872 Clipper Tea Co is seeking an experienced Operations Manager/Head of Operations to lead and scale our F&B and retail operations in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for the success of our outlets by leading ahigh-performing team to exceed revenue targets and deliver product and service excellence in accordance with our strategic plans.

Job Description

The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing budgets, developing and implementing operational strategies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include analysing performance metrics, managing and mentoring team members, and fostering strong communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities

A. Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and manage a team of managers, including Operations Executive, Head Baristas and Outlet Managers.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new team members in collaboration with HR, ensuring they are equipped for long-term success.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and build succession plans to support team development and retention.

B. Operational Excellence

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all outlets to ensure smooth execution, quality assurance, and brand alignment.
• Develop, implement, and refine SOPs and workflows to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Ensure product quality, service excellence, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are upheld at all locations.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports on KPIs, operational challenges, and improvement plans.
• Respond to customer escalations and implement service recovery processes.

C. Supplier & Vendor Management

• Drive sales and profitability through effective inventory management, cost controls, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with key suppliers to ensure product quality, pricing competitiveness, and favourable cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Manage vendor relationships, third-party contracts, and oversee regular facilities maintenance.
• Lead planning and execution of store facelifts, refurbishments, and major renovation projects

D. Strategic Execution

• Execute company initiatives, marketing campaigns, and product launches in alignment with operational capabilities.
• Ensure operational readiness and seamless execution for new store openings or relocations.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to gather feedback and continuously enhance workflows and offerings.
• Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions for improvement and innovation.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, F&B, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in F&B or multi-site retail operations with 2 or more outlets
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proven experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and cost controls.
• Demonstrated leadership with high emotional intelligence (EQ) and strong interpersonal skills.
• A track record of driving commercial performance and operational improvements.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and systems-driven; thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As the Accounts Assistant, you are the financial guardian of our retail and tea bar operations. You don’t just process transactions; you ensure the financial integrity of our "leaf to cup" journey. By bridging the gap between outlet operations and corporate accounting, you play a critical role in maintaining the health and transparency of a heritage brand in a fast-paced modern market.

Role Overview

Assist with the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger 

1. Accounts Receivables

• Perform Sales & AR reconciliations;
• Verification of outlet day-end POS report against collections via various tender modes and food delivery partners’ proceeds
• Update/reconciliation of outlet daily sales to accounting systems
• Liaise with operations on any discrepancies in sales collections
• Month end closing for outlet’ sales including computation of GTO
• Assist in periodic outlet sales certification audit and statutory audit on sales

2. Accounts Payables

• Perform audit schedules and A/P reconciliations
• Perform accounts payable functions for day-to-day operations and reporting needs
• Ensure prompt payment in accordance with credit terms
• Responsible for general journal entries during month-end
• Review Monthly Vendor reconciliation and statements are followed up
• Attends to suppliers/vendors queries pertaining to payment and/or invoice issue if any

3. Administration

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Participate in the month-end stock take at designated outlets
• Ad-hoc duties as required or as instructed.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly preferred.
• A meticulous eye for detail, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under month-end deadlines

We are seeking a high-energy, versatile Marketing Coordinator / Executive to join us for a 6-month intensive contract. Working closely with and supporting our Marketing Team, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of our marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Account Management

• Lead the growth and retention strategies for our key hotel partners, ensuring 1872 Clipper Tea is a hallmark of their guest experience.

• Build deep-rooted connections with F&B Directors, Executive Chefs, and Procurement Heads across the luxury hospitality ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years related experience in Key Account Management or Business Development within the premium F&B or luxury hospitality sector.
