The Role

We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager, Communications to support communications strategy, stakeholder engagement, and programme development across NUHS@Home initiatives.

The role spans internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, patient-facing communications, digital and social content, campaigns, and initiatives that strengthen awareness and adoption of a home-first model of care. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, community partners, vendors, and leadership teams to strengthen programme visibility, engagement, and collaboration as NUHS@Home continues to scale.

What You’ll Do

Communications & Content

• Develop and execute integrated communications plans and campaigns across internal, external, digital, and social platforms
• Champion consistent application of the NUHS and NUHS@Home brand across communications, engagement activities and partnership touchpoints
• Help shape and advocate a “home-first” mindset across internal and external stakeholders through strategic storytelling, campaigns, and engagement initiatives
• Provide communications counsel and support to programme leads and stakeholders on key initiatives, engagement activities and organisational priorities
• Lead the development of content and communications materials across digital, social, print and stakeholder engagement platforms, including speeches, presentations, newsletters, publicity materials and thought leadership pieces including basic content creation and visual adaptation where required
• Support leadership messaging, media opportunities, speaking engagements, and programme narratives

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

• Lead and coordinate communications initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of messaging, timelines and programme objectives

Who You Are

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or related disciplines
• At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in communications, engagement, branding, partnerships, or related fields
• Strong writing, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to think strategically while remaining hands-on and execution-focused
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in fast-moving environments

Patient Care

• Performs pre-admission screening for patients and caregivers.
• Works in collaboration with the nurses to manage and provide holistic care to patients in their homes, including monitoring patients’ general condition and progress.
• Identifies and reports any deviations from norm, care gaps or issues to appropriate Team Nurse Lead/Nurses/Clinicians.
• Handles enquiries and provide regular updates on care plans with patients and caregivers.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and provides input on patient care plans.
• Documents patient care and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborates with community resources and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals for relevant community services.

Telehealth Monitoring

• Monitors patient’s vital signs and escalate red flags to the respective team nurses/physicians.

• Adherence to telehealth monitoring using Telehealth system.

The NUHS@Home nurse provides nursing care to patients who require acute medical treatment but who are able to be cared for in their homes rather than in a hospital. The nurse works in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and their families on self-care techniques.

The NUHS@Home nurse is competent in performing care assessment and planning, and in the management of patients with identified care needs. S/He provides clinical supervision, precepts the junior nurses and contributes to NUHS@Home nursing training.

This flexible role, available as full or part-time, allows you to practice at the top of your license, leveraging your expertise in physiotherapy to make an impact on patient outcomes.

Pharmacy Technician (For NUHS@Home)

The incumbent is responsible to:

* Assist the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders for dispensing which includes typing, packing, labelling and distribution of drug supplies.

* Perform billing functions and ensure that cost and revenue of all stocks supplied are recovered, if required

* Counsel medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist over tele-consult

* Monitor and maintain inventory stock level of drugs in the areas of work

* Receive, unpack and check deliveries against the appropriate documents, to ensure that items supplied are correct and accounted for

* Perform stock receipts and issues strictly in FIFO order

* Assist in providing quality customer service

Requirements

Overview 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Inpatient Operations, the Senior Executive (SE) / Assistant Manager (AM) / Senior Assistant Manager (SAM) will assist in the management of assigned clinical and/or patient services in the hospital and/or project management role for ward infrastructure and/or building improvement projects. S/he will be responsible for key departmental and/or service performance areas, such as customer service, operational excellence and resource utilisation.

Job Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategic Planning

• Participate in the development of AH strategic plans. He/She will facilitate in the alignment of the vision, philosophy, strategic and business plans for the Operations team. This includes the formulation of a tactical roadmap to achieve measurable targets within prescribed timelines. These measurable targets are quantifiable quality outcomes as KRAs that can be used to benchmark against other institutions.
• Participate in the transformation of hospital design and deliver of support services through the Alexandra Campus Redevelopment project.

Major Duties (80%)

• Responsible for daily operations of assigned inpatient ward(s), including ward reception counter services, administrative / operational matters and partnering Ward Nurse Manager and other stakeholders to solve system and process issues.
• Review key processes to improve overall key performance indicators/ outcomes in the areas of total customer experience, operational efficiency and optimal resources utilization.
• Track, monitor and make recommendations to achieve excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
• Work closely with Nursing, Operational Support Services and other stakeholders for ward infrastructure and/or building improvement projects to ensure:adequate planning of project phases and bed closures to minimize disruption to inpatient operations, user requirements are adequately captured in project specifications,site works are carried out in compliance to hospital standards e.g. infection control,projects are completed on time and within budget. 
• Track, monitor and make recommendations for all hospital related requirements related to its annual planning cycles, including financial, manpower and total training budgets.
• Work closely with relevant departments on special projects, workgroups or committees to resolve intra-department conflicts, initiate and propose options where possible and see through the implementation to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
• Participate actively in relevant NUHS Way projects, Quality Improvement/ IT projects and initiatives. Constantly review within assigned areas, systems and process initiatives to achieve safer, better, faster and cheaper care for the customers.

Overview*

Reporting to the FM HOD, you will provide administrative and office support to the FM team for the smooth-running of the Facilities Management operations in the hospital. You will propose and implement the administrative strategies, priorities and streamline work processes in compliance to prevailing hospital policies and audit requirements. 

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

• Oversees Administrative processes for FM department (procurement processing, filing, payments, billings, etc)
• Plan and Lead in the administrative duties and responsible for the meeting submissions timelines and/or expected deliverables for reporting purposes (Prepare data/KPIs, etc)
• Administrative liaison for IHAM system matters (accounts management, asset registry, etc) with MOHH representatives
• Assist FM HOD to organise meetings and briefings, providing administrative support.
• Organize office records, files, memorandums, etc. in an effective manner.
• Upkeep the FM department shared information folders and FM assets (minor/ IT, etc)
• Quality check to incoming document, eg. Operation Maintenance Manuals and As-built Drawings received from Project team.
• Oversees the currency of master list of quality records, master document for SOPs, inventory, etc
• Participate and support in audits that the hospital subscribes to eg IT/DP & FM CSA, MOH Licensing and Inspection, MOH ESS, ISO45K audit, etc.
• Work closely with FM’s Contract Management Team for audit compliance needs.

Requirements*

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

Bachelor degree preferably in Facility Management, Engineering or Business Management.

Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences, Professional Licences, etc)

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in building industry and relevant administrative experience working in large organizations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with contracts, financial, quality and facilities management principles.
• Possess good communication and written skills, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in office software
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
• Good analytical and organization skills

As a Patient Service Associate, you will deliver friendly and efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all internal and external customers/ patients, with the key aim of providing excellent patient care and satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure clinic's operational and procedural area readiness based on desired service standards.
• Assist with smooth patient journey including accurate and timely registration, discharge, appointment bookings, cashiering and any other enquiries such as insurance provider's information for billing.
• Provide chaperone assistance to doctors/nurses and prepare consultation documents.
• Attend to any requests, emails and phone enquiries.
• Assist clinic manager in administrative duties.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE “O” Levels qualification or equivalent.
• Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office), handling multiple systems such as SAP will be an advantage.
• Team player with good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates should be comfortable/flexible with working in a hospital setting and in different clinics when needed. Prior experience in hospitality or service industries will be an advantage.
• This is a 2-year contract role, subjected to contract extension or permanent conversion with satisfactory work performance.

Overview

This role entails being the main coordinator in the team to manage onboarding processes, inventory management, call roster, team meetings, events and resource distribution. Staff will also be an important pillar of administration through providence of support, contributing to smooth operations of the department.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Support onboarding and off boarding process of clinicians and department staff, including access applications.
• Manage IT assets under the department and maintain master records of access related matters.
• Prepare and verify claims for overtime, night allowances, honorariums, leave and petty cash for department staff.
• Manage and plan rosters of clinicians, with uploading into system.
• Co-ordinate meetings, book venues, collate agenda and arrange for catering requirements when necessary.
• Collation of data required by the department for purposes of cost management and improvement. 
• Procurement of common items used by the department, maintaining a master inventory list.  
• Manage mailbox for the department, including dispatch to respective clinics.
• Manage the Director’s/ Clinical leads’ calendars as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• GCE ‘A’ or Diploma in any field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in clerical and administrative duties.
• A good understanding of accounting and figures.
• Good computer skills in Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Good communication and interactive skills.
• Able to work independently.

Overview

The incumbent will lead the hospital's emergencypreparedness program, providing oversight and strategic coordination to ensureeffective response to various emergencies, such as pandemics/IT downtime etc.The role involves supervising the emergency planning team, coordinating withstakeholders, and ensuring alignment with MOH directives.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

1.      EmergencyPlanning Program Management

• Manage day-to-day emergency preparedness operations and activities
• Oversee implementation of emergency response plans and SOPs
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities across departments
• Monitor compliance with established emergency preparedness procedures
• Support senior management in strategic planning initiatives

2.      TeamLeadership and Supervision

• Supervise Assistant Manager/Senior Executive(s)/Executive(s) in Emergency Planning team
• Manage team performance and provide coaching support
• Coordinate team workload and resource allocation
• Support staff development and training initiatives

3.      CrisisManagement and Incident Response

• Coordinate departmental response during emergency activations
• Support Operations Centre setup and operations during crisis

4.      Equipmentand Resource Management

• Coordinate EP equipment procurement and maintenance activities
• Monitor equipment inventory and readiness status

5.      IGHPlanning Coordination

• Lead departmental participation in IGH Ops Centre planning
• Coordinate with medical planners and campus planning teams
• Oversee preparation of EP requirements for IGH implementation
• Manage IGH-related procurement planning and timeline adherence

6.      Administrativeand Project Support

• Provide secretariat support for BCM Steering Committee meetings
• Support MOH EP projects and initiatives as assigned
