Job Description
GA Lines is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to manage customer enquiries and coordinate shipment operations for import, export, and local deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily customer service operations for import, export, and local shipments
- Coordinate with customers, carriers, transporters, and internal teams
- Process shipping documentation (e.g. Bill of Lading, Delivery Orders, invoices)
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely updates to customers
- Resolve shipment issues, delays, and discrepancies efficiently
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping / freight forwarding / logistics industry
- Basic knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Education & Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Candidates with relevant working experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
Preferred Skills (Optional but Good to Include)
- Experience with TradeNet submission
- Knowledge of local customs regulations
- Familiar with freight management systems
