- Lifecycle Management: Manage the full scope of Dry-Docking and major repair projects, with a focus on technical life-extension and reliability for mature tonnage.
- Financial Stewardship: Full P&L responsibility for fleet OPEX and CAPEX; optimizing maintenance spend while ensuring zero compromise on safety.
- Regulatory Leadership: Navigate the fleet through evolving IMO, MARPOL, and ESG/decarbonization requirements.
Requirements
- Technical Qualification: Must hold a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer).
- Background: Proven track record as a Chief Engineer on tankers (Oil/Chem/Product).
- Shore Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in shore-based technical management (Superintendent or Vessel Manager level).
- Expertise: Deep experience in Technical Life Extension and managing the complexities of vessels 20+ years in age.
- Audit Success: Demonstrated success in maintaining top-tier SIRE/PSC performance records.
Why Apply?
- Stability: Join an asset-heavy principal with a long-term view on the maritime market.
- Professional Growth: Opportunity to lead an entire department and shape the technical culture of the firm.
