Job Summary
Join us as a Drum / Percussion Teacher, delivering individual and group lessons, preparing lesson plans, tracking progress, and supporting student performances to foster musical growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging individual and group drum lessons tailored to students of various ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans that include basic music theory, practical techniques, and exam preparation
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback and reports to parents
- Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources to enhance learning outcomes
- Support student accompaniment, ensemble rehearsals, and live performances
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute group activities such as camps, events, and exam preparations
- Inspire and motivate students through fun, patient, and effective teaching methods
- Commit to a regular weekly teaching schedule to ensure consistent student development
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Teaching experience in drums or percussion (preferred but not required)
- Experience conducting group classes
- Ability to teach various music genres including pop, rock, and funk etc.
- Music certifications or relevant qualifications
