The role holder’s core accountabilities will include the following:

• Responsible for the management and development of 2-10 Client Services Executives (CSEs), who in turn each support the business by servicing the complex needs of UHNW clients through multiple channels.  These Services include payment handling, digital enablement and general client service requests.
• Strategic management of resource is key to ensure the provision of excellent client and Banker support to facilitate revenue production.
• Managing the call centre and ensuring client requests are handled in a timely manner.

Corporate Finance creates sophisticated strategies for clients’ corporate finance needs. Our banking structure leverages the expertise of bankers with industry or product specific and geographic expertise across all of Barclays' products to provide clients with the most informed strategic advice and comprehensive financial solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Undertake detailed and complex financial modelling.
• Undertake research and monitor developments/trends in the market.
• Assist in deal set up, compliance checks and account opening for new clients run on in-house systems.
• Work closely with the senior sector bankers, country coverage, and product teams to help generate origination leads, and contribute toward the origination and more importantly execution of deal mandates.
• Prepare materials for both client and internal presentations, and attend client meetings and presentations where appropriate.
• Liaise with regional counterparts in the assistance of preparation of materials to be used internally and externally.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

• Degree educated.
• Experience required of detailed financial modelling, basic valuation techniques, and presentation preparation, documentation, and transaction process management
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal. Additional Asian languages being an advantage.
• Ability to perform under pressure with high attention to detail.
• Team / collaborative player able to manage external and internal stakeholders.
• Self starter with an ability to work both independently and with minimal supervision.
