• Develop and implement named Account or Territory plans geared at both maximizing expansion opportunities across a wide portfolio of products and ensuring high bar of customer success.
• Be the main Atlassian point of contact or escalation point for designated strategic Accounts.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to acquire and retain high-value accounts.
• Identifying key decision-makers within target accounts and building strong

• Extensive experience in enterprise software sales (typically 15+ years), with a proven track record of managing strategic accounts and achieving sales targets.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives and strategic sales engagements within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience engaging and building C-level and other executive relationships.
• Experience navigating complex procurement processes with multiple stakeholders and complex purchasing needs.
• Proficient in leading and guiding a highly matrixed support team across geographies, getting cross functional teams aligned and marching toward the same goals.
• Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic sales opportunities.
• Extensive experience utilizing a CRM to achieve and correlate key performance metrics.

We’re hiring an Engagement Manager to join our Advisory Services team as an individual contributor - this is not a managerial role. The Engagement Manager plays a critical role in driving customer outcomes by advising external clients on achieving their goals with Atlassian’s solutions. This position is key to driving Advisory Services engagements and focuses on leading and executing client engagements to meet strategic goals and deliver value. This is an individual contributor role reporting to a manager in Advisory Services.

What You'll Do

• Be the primary contact for your Advisory Services engagements, driving the direction throughout the engagement lifecycle. You will be the sole access point to the Advisory Services organization for your clients, facilitating collaboration and ensuring the efficient delivery of customer outcomes.
  
• Take charge of proactive scope management to ensure that the team stays aligned with the engagement vision and meets your client's desired outcomes. You will execute projects to achieve results while balancing available time and resources. Additionally, it involves identifying future opportunities for further outcomes, growth, and expansion. Accelerate time to value by applying project and program management expertise, ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of results for clients.
  
• Cultivate enduring relationships with clients by applying consultative skills, maintaining clear and consistent communication, and monitoring and reporting on the value generated from the Advisory Services engagement.
  
• Partner with teams across Atlassian to advocate for customer needs and innovative solutions that address their business drivers.
  
• Spend up to 30% of your time traveling domestically, and in some cases internationally, for both internal and customer-facing events.

Your Background

• 8+ years of experience within SaaS companies or similar product organizations or technology consulting firms. Track record in managing large-scale projects and programs.
  
• 3+ years in Professional Services, Technical Consulting, or Success customer-facing roles. Experience managing client relationships and delivering successful project outcomes.
  
• You're fluent in English, but it would be nice to have a second language, such as Bahasa, Thai, Mandarin, for business communication.

In this role, you'll get to:

Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth for Jira Service Management in the SEA market.

Define and implement a clear vision for your territory and plan/communicate regularly on funnel/account/territory status, resource requirements, challenges, and successes.

Work with cross-functional teams, including Enterprise Advocate, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Represent Jira Service Management at industry events and conferences.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

Experience in Sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in technology vendors (Generally 10 years of experience).

Experience in the ITSM market and familiarity with any mainstream service management solutions is a must.

Experience working with customers across Southeast Asia markets, including collaboration with local system integrator (SI) partners on RFP/RFI processes

Comfortable of making independent decision driving Co-sell and GTM campaign with other Atlassian team and channel partners in the SEA market.

Fluency in English is required, as the role involves engaging with regional stakeholders and reporting to management in Australia.

Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

Certified in ITIL is a plus but not mandatory.

Your background:

6-8 years of experience within SaaS companies

5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles where you’ve engaged with and influenced customer stakeholders that range from technical administrators to executive leadership.

Demonstrated expertise in our Cloud Platform, including:

• Experience administering Atlassian Cloud ecosystems including applications like Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Guard, Focus, Rovo, etc
• Background in SaaS based-architectures, integration methods, and associated security considerations.
• Experience performing Cloud migration process at varying customer scales, and expertise in associated migration utilities, and hybrid SaaS and on-premise deployment models.

Experience with popular best-in-breed products in the ITSM space and Atlassian ecosystem that support enterprise-grade IT operations.

Experience identifying, testing, deploying, and/or integrating best-inbreed ITSM tooling that satisfies customer requirements and improves the end-user experience.

You're fluent in English, and nice to have a second language such as Bahasa, Thai, Mandarin for business communication.
