The candidate will support the Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Department (“LCD”) and reports to the Chief Regulatory Officer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Market Surveillance

a) Identify potential market misconduct and other behaviour that impact APEX’s operation of a fair,

orderly and transparent market

b) Review and implement frameworks, policies and procedures to enhance APEX’s trade

surveillance and investigations of market misconduct

c) Perform regular/daily tasks to monitor market activity, including, but not limited to:

(i) Analysis of trading alerts triggered for unusual transactions and orders

(ii) Escalation of suspicious trading behaviour for investigations and/or to the regulators

(iii) Review and update of alert parameters and logic

d) Liaise with regulators and other law enforcement agencies on relevant matters when necessary

2) Regulatory Compliance

a) Develop and strengthen the compliance culture in APEX and related entities

b) Review and implement policies and procedures to monitor and enhance APEX’s internal controls

c) Ensure APEX’s compliance with regulatory obligations under the Securities and Futures Act, and

related regulations, including, but not limited to, submission of regulatory returns, assessment of

potential non-compliance and breaches, and supporting departments in their compliance needs

d) Maintain effective communications and relationships with APEX’s regulators, such as the

Monetary Authority of Singapore

3) Corporate Governance

a) Review and implement processes and procedures to strengthen APEX’s internal governance

b) Assist the Corporate Secretary in matters related to corporate governance and the Board of

directors

c) Maintain effective communications and relationships with APEX’s shareholders and the Board of

directors

4) Support other related functions undertaken by LCD, including review of whistleblowing complaints

and disciplinary breaches.

Requirements:

• University degree from reputable institutions.
• At least 3 years’ relevant working experience in derivatives trading compliance or derivatives trading surveillance. Investigation/law enforcement background is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, positive team player
• IT literacy and ability to work with large datasets are preferred.

The candidate will support the Operations Department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor exchange and clearing house activities by identifying bugs and propose change request for the various systems.
• Manage clearing cycle and margin calls; Post-trade and collateral management.
• Rightly and timely execute system-related action and configuration according to the daily check list. Prompt and proper escalation whenever necessary.
• Evaluate the adaptability of the systems to cater for new products.
• Complete daily and weekly market report, periodic statistics, market analysis report, and statistical work for cross-department demands.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma from reputable educational institutions
• Able to work flexible hours, shifts and public holidays
• Strong IT literacy, proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Familiar with Financial instruments (e.g. futures, options, swaps, forwards)
• Good at using Bloomberg or Reuters to collect information, data and news
• Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with peers, management and clients

We are looking for junior ~ intermediate Software Development/Support Engineer to look after the exchange’s mission critical business systems; oversee daily operations and develop system enhancements as a second line support. This role also requires working closely with business users to analyse business requirements, design and see through implementation.

Professional Requirements:

• Exposure to full software development life cycle of large scale financial system
• 2+ years development experience against at least one of the programming languages below: Java, JavaScript or Python.
• Proficient with object oriented programming concepts and relational database design.
• Knowledge of network, understanding mainstream network communication protocols such as HTTP, TCP and UDP
• Experience with Linux, strong shell scripting skill is preferred
• IT Experiences in financial industry will be an advantage
• Good verbal and written communication capabilities, strong documentation skill

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering
• Passionate, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills

• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Brainstorming for product positioning and campaign planning
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers and service vendors etc
• Pull and analyse data from a range of marketing channels and use this data to execute distribution strategy and tactics
• Research adjacent markets and conduct competitive analysis
• Explore business opportunities to grow the product offering and source of revenue

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields
• At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience in derivatives brokerage house
• Strong knowledge of financial markets
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once.
• Prior working experience in Cryptocurrency Exchanges will be preferred
• Proficiency in Mandarin advantageous to liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparties

About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the candidate will be supporting Information Technology (“IT”) governance and data function under IT & Operations Department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with internal controls and regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS TRM, Cybersecurity Act).

• Assist in maintaining the IT risk register, tracking control effectiveness, and preparing compliance and risk reports.

• Coordinate with Risk Management, Compliance, and external auditors or service providers to support audit readiness and track issue remediation.

• Prepare materials and assist with external audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews (e.g. MAS,SWIFT attestation).

• Maintain records of IT systems, software, and hardware assets.

• Support vendor sourcing, onboarding, contract renewals, and procurement processes in accordance with IT and regulatory standards.

• Collect and organize IT data to support risk dashboards, audit responses, and compliance reporting.

• Assist in the implementation of secure and compliant data handling practices across departments.

• Ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Requirements:

• Preferably bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Information Systems. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply!
